    Floyd is a slight favourite, 51 or 52 %.

This is almost a pick'm fight.

Modernfonzie makes some great points. However 1 point I disagree with is that categorically Alvarez cannot stop Floyd. If he could not stop Matt Hatton no way can he stop Floyd. canelo stops 140 pounds fightersvlike Josepito Lopez. This fight is only 50:50 on paper. When we see the fight we will be shocked that people thought it was going to be close.

I am a huge Mayweather fan as I stated many times, but I do think Canelo will be too big and strong for him. There will be a changing of the guard come Sept 14, 2013. Does anyone know the betting lines?

I have been watching a lot of both fighters recently and I don't see how people can say Canelo has no chance. If you watch the Cotto-Mayweather fight (2-3 rounds in it max), Canelo will stop Mayweather if Mayweather boxes like that. Cotto was not in his prime at that stage and Canelo throws cleaner, crisper, harder, sharper and less unpredictable combos than that Cotto. I think Mayweather decided to trade a bit more than he had to but still, he'll get KO'd against Canelo if he does that. Also Canelo has been showing improvements recently, this could potentially be the toughest opponent Mayweather has ever faced, certainly since Castillo.

I would say so, but its more like 60-40 Mayweather. I think too many ppl are underestimating Canelo
