You and I both know Cotto made weight just fine months before when he beat Josh....weighing in a full pound under the welterweight limit at 146.....no one likes cutting weight, but most fighters have had rumors about having trouble making weight, even Canelo.

 

Before this fight was announced as a catch weight title fight the Brandon Rios vs Pac fight was announced. .......it's a catch weight fight as well. Would you like to guess which posters had made some pretty definitive comments about the fact that Pac was involved?

I mean......that's a great fight too. Not like Floyd vs Alvarez but a damn good match up stylistically......yet some fans only highlighted how ****ed up it was that this fight was a catxh weight but Floyd somehow isn't held to the same scrutiny.

I just find that interesting and would like to hear the thought process from certain posters who are in this select group.

We have no problem with catchweights. The problem is the HyYPOCRISY, dirtiness and dark shady BS going on.It's a black eye to boxing. You made it clear that you don't like catch weight would never fight at a catch weight. Then why make a complete 360 turn on your word and ask for a catch weight? WTF is that BS!!!

Then you say you want to clean the sport and it turns out two of your premier boxers are roiding. Who do we trust here? huh..
