Wow what a wonderful fight this would be--the radar against pretty boy! To me, these 2 are in the top 5 all time defensively and it would be a 50/50 fight, maybe 60/40 in favor of Floyd (to me he was in his true prime around 2004/2005 when he was much more offensively active.)

Then you have the fact that Benitez fought much better and Bigger guys. Interesting fight.

I give the slightest of advantages to Floyd at 140.

At 147..I think Benitez had the ability but he often came in a bit underdone in fights here and could phone in performances.

154 is all Wilfred...clearly the better fighter at this weight.

    haha, Liverpool fan?

I have to say, Floyd's tendancy to pose and pick his shots, usually as a counter will be to his advantage, b/c Benitez eats up guys who try to beat him off voume.

Either way, the fight would be dreadful, and the scoring would vary a great deal as many rounds would be hard to score and the bodywork of Benitez would likely not get the attention it should normally command b/c of Mayweathers shoulder roll style.

Benitez- 7-5, advantage b/c Benitez prefers to stay in the pocket and counter, so he'd be pressing the action more than Mayweather, giving him an advantage in perception in rounds that are tough to score, while landing solid bodyshots off counters.

I'd take Benitez at any weight if he was at his best. He was every bit as quick as Floyd, and taller and rangier which would give Floyd hella problems.

I dont have the numbers in front of me, but it never seemed like benitez had long arms. I know Leonard had a decent reach advantage on him.

Well yeah, considering Floyd's never fought 15 rounds before.
