Floyd, is in the lime light of his career and is in his late 30's. Beat by most posters the best of his generation and a fighter who had A+ resume in Manny paquiao. When Ali defeated Foreman in Zaire to regain The Hw championship. he fought chuck wepner next a guy who was tough but a brawler/bleeder who had 10 losses but was ranked like Berto but not as high. Other notable greats who fought contenders or journey man after a Mega fight.

Srl, after beating Duran fought Larry Bonds.

JCC, feated off bums during his reign as champion

SRR, fought guys who was less than berto during his championship days

Joe Louis, fought guys less than Berto after he beat Max schmeling

Carlos Monzon fought a few contenders who were less than berto is now.

Rid**** Bowe after he beat Holyfield, fought Micheal Dokes

Holyfield after he beat Buster Douglas, fought Bert Cooper

There are several more examples of All time greats.

    Facts, facts.

It's supposed to be his last fight so I don't care, sucks but it is what it is. Nothing left to prove. His detractors will never be satisfied, not one of them is satisfied after Pacquiao.

Floyd doesn't have to fight at all, his career is over, the checklist is complete. Nothing left to prove to real boxing fans....only trolls still question his merits.

He should just retire then and not mope around with Berto waiting on another Pacquiao payday for his 50th fight.

    Nobody cares for it.

I couldn't agree more. He should have retired after his last fight as far as I'm concerned. If he hasn't earned your respect by now he will never earn it.

Stop comparing guys who actually dared to be great to Fraud weather !!

This is the problem with you Mayweather fans ,comparing this guy to Srl have you seen the man's resume ? Or even Evander Holyfield neither of the two made excuses to fight guys in their prime so do us all a favor and stop !!:good

The only problems that I have with it is
    1) He terms himself The Best Ever then chooses a low ranked Welterweight
    2) The last two fights are career milestones (reaching Marciano's record and then surpassing it)
    3) He's getting paid 32 million and no one should get paid 32 million for a light sparring session
    4) He lied about what he was going to do. "I'm going to get an opponent who will challenge me. I want my last fight to be real special" then does this.

Dared to be great? PBF could have stayed at 130 for his whole career and ruled it with an iron fist.:deal But he didn't he dared be great and moved up 4 more times and chased greatness.

And what does he do when he moves up to 140 fight a who's who of club fighters and b level fighters do you want to go there ?

Name one fighter he faced in their prime that was great when he gets challenged by the likes of Wright he runs. When Matgarito was IBF champ challenges hims he goes to face Baldimor you tell me is that daring to be great:lol:

This is why no one takes Mayweather fans serious !Chased greatness almost forgot Maidana is great as is Gurrero or Ortiz ,hell Canelo isn't even good he's just hyped !!
