No,it is you who are the idiot to believe that Kessler wasn't super hyped.
To think that Kessler is the best prime fighter Calzaghe has faced in his career shows that Joe is a hype also.

Both Froch and Ward defeated Kessler, and if he had fought Dirrell in the S6, Dirrell would have defeated him too.

When a fighter can be out-boxed by Froch, a fighter who is known to over power his opponent, Only a fool would think that Kessler was an elite level boxer.

Kessler did better against Ward than anyone else in the Super-Six, despite the severe cuts. Froch outboxed a 34 year old Kessler, after previously losing to him. Kessler has battled injuries his whole career, and is an old 34.

Kessler is what he is. He is a straight-up European fighter, who moves in straight lines and punches somewhat robotically. He can be outboxed by slick movers, and was outboxed by the two best of his era. He handled himself adequately in both those losses, winning a few rounds in each.

Second-tier opposition like Green, Sartison, Beyer, and Magee were all KO'd.

How that is not an elite fighter is beyond me. He's certainly never been P4P material or anything, but elite? Are you kidding?

Old Oscar De La Hoya = Old Roy Jones Jr
Old Shane Mosley = Old Bernard Hopkins
Old Miguel Cotto < Prime Mikkel Kessler
    Ricky Hatton < Chris Eubank
    Saul Alvarez
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Jose Luis Castillo
    Diego Corrales
    Zab Judah

    Advantage Floyd.

I remember when me, Calzaghe and Mayweather were all out fishing and Calzaghe dared Money May to run into the cold river with no shoes or socks on. Mayweather did it and then he told Calzaghe that he had to do it as well but Calzaghe pretended to be asleep in the tent and we knew he was awake but he didn't want to get his feet wet. It was really funny what Maywether did but there will always be a question mark on Calzaghe's record because he wouldn't go in that river. None of us caught any fish.

Myaweather had surpassed anything Calzaghe ever did by the age of about 25.

Actually its worse than that. Canada and America are at least seperate nations.

Wales and England are both part of the UK. Same central government, national leader and army...all that stuff.

Also, Calzaghe was actually born in England. So you could say both Wales and England are home anyway.

As for the original post. Mayweather obviously has a way better resume

    Who cares?

Since when did where you fight become a big thing? Especially for Americans when America is STILL considered the centre of world boxing, outside of maybe the HW division and cruiser.

Floyds biggest wins were against guys who fight in America anyway. Hatton being the one exception and even he had started to base himself in America when they fought.

Bull****. Joe CLEANED OUT HIS DIVISION! Floyd NEVER cleaned out his division, never fough Popo, Casa @130.

He cherry picked his way up in weight, fought Gatti, instead of KT.

JOE DUCKED NO ONE, HE LEFT HIS COUNTRY!!

Floyd is too scared to leave his country.

BTW You're the ***, when you insult a great warrior like Calzaghe.

Now go watch WWE in your mom's basement.
