if calzaghe lost weight to fight pbf ,then pbf would win...if pbf put on weight to meet calzaghe he would lose the slickness and calzaghe would murder him.
if they met in an exhibition bout at the weight they are now then pbf floyd would be battered so
that is over all calzaghe`s win.
what you have to remember is pbf looks a little slicker than calzaghe because he is smaller.

Questionable. Floyd is very very smart in the ring.

 

Both are very clever but i give this one to Calzaghe based on his ability to adjust his fighting style. He figures out opponents. Floyd is the same but to a lesser extent. From pretty early in Floyds career he was selecting opponents that had a specific style and not much depth. Calzaghe has fought Hopkins, and it doesnt get much more awkward than that.

 

Even if they are slaps, he wins. Therefore its an intelligent tactic.

Hes fighting guys with far more punching power. The Hopkins knockdown was a case of Calzaghe being off balance and caught cold. It was a flash knockdown.

The Roy Jones knockdown was a proper knockdown but it was the forearm straight on the face after a strong jab. Jones may be faded but he still has KO power anyway. Floyd has a better defence and doesnt attack as much therefore his chin is far less tested. Calzaghe's chin is treid and tested against seriously big punchers

Skills, fairly even, though offensively Calzaghe is better.
Chin? I don't see how when Jones landed a flush uppercuty on the button of calzaghe and he stood up, ( ok he got the Bone on bone KD in teh first round that would have taken anyone out of the match) Plus Calzaghe tends to fight bigger people, therefore Chin and Heart goes to Joe by a country mile.

Accuracy is debatable, when yopu look at how many punches he throws and lands, the rate is astonishing.

 

The one which aside from a few rednecks everyone acknowledges Joe won convincingly with all the odds stacked against him? we should also deduct a point from Hopkins for Headbutting and holding all fight too, which cancels out the KD, making Calzaghes win even more impressive.

Bigger, Kessler, lacy, Hopkins , Jones... all msucle mass wise bigger, and I believe at least 2 are taller too? thats just his last bunch of fights without delving deeper.

 

I honestly dont see anyone beating Calzaghe, not even Mayrunner; all things being equal.

Skills??? Calzaghe is very sloppy and gets away with alot because of his great hand speed. Mayweather's skills are much better then his.

Calzaghe chin??? Been dropped hard by Mitchell and Salem neither guy is bigger then Calzaghe. And the only person Calzaghe ever fought that was "bigger" then him was Jones. Mayweather on the other hand has never been dropped by a punch and was only hurt once in his career. And Mayweather is the guy jumping up in weight not Calzaghe. So it is Mayweather who tends to fight the bigger people.
