We know Canello lost to Mayweather a few years back but does this version beat Money Mayweather? Or both at their peaks?

if canelo could be 152 and in his prime the fight ends the same way imo.

"this version" of canelo relies on him being around 168, which of course floyd could never get close to.

Floyd is far too defense in the pocket for Canelo still till this day. Canelo is a counter puncher and his offense is built in his defense. How the hell can he beat a man who has perfected the style since he was 6 years old?
Plus Floyd was 36 when he fought Saul, if that's prime then GGG is still young and a lot of guys need to give Canelo his flowers for beating his face bloody in his prime. Why is that question never brought up? Golovkin and Floyd were both the same age when they fought Canelo but fight fans say GGG was old.

Would never be possible. Canelo looks to be in his prime now at 168. Mayweather's prime was probably at 140, but he was talented enough to weigh 148 on fight night and take on the top welters and top junior middle weights. Mayweather vs Canelo was about as even as a much up as you could make between the two because Canelo was pre-prime while Mayweather was post prime in a weight he didn't belong in.

No version of Canelo would beat a prime Mayweather. I'm not going to talk down Canelo's recent performances, but those who have won rounds against him in the last 3 years wouldn't have touched Mayweather.

Prime Mayweather would still win 9+ rounds against Canelo in 2021 (with comparative weights)
