Canelo wet the bed already. I'd rather watch Mayweather fight a seasoned fighter instead like Pacquiao or Golovkin
How in gods name did Canelo missing all those punches, and getting his ass whipped have anything to do with the weight? Did he lean on Floyd, did he have Floyd pinned up in the corner or something? Did he get tired? Man if you throw punches and miss all night how are you gonna change that gameplan....You guys have a bunch of excuses for people who lose...
No he wasn't drained. To me, Canelo looked like he had more energy toward the end of this fight with Floyd than he did in his fights prior. His punches were still strong even in the final round.
It got so bad Floyd started mocking him. Floyd is usually all business when in the ring so you know when he starts goofing around you've already lost.
I swear some of these fools are so desperate for Mayweather to lose they will be saying he should be blindfolded, or have his feet tied together next. It is pathetic, like silly little girls in a school playground. The problem is most of them are so dumb they don't realise that father time will catch up with him sooner rather than later, so all they have to do is stop acting like said little girls, and be patient.
Damn calm down I'm not even saying this fight should happen I just trying to put things into perspective Canelo is a big, fairly quick LMW and when he was demolished by Mayweather I think people got the wrong idea Mayweather won't be able to beat guys that big that are any good without draining them Despite Canelo being drained, I say that Mayweather's performance was very good I'm just saying that against a non drained Canelo the fight might be very different Thats not even taking anything away from Mayweather really Hes way to small to be fighting guys this big Theres a reason why he hasn't fought many fights at LMW If he had been fighting at LMW consistently, he definitely would have lost by now And I think Canelo woulda gotten him too had it been at a comfortable weight for him Again, thats not really a criticism of Mayweather it just puts things in perspective
Yeah same here I'm just saying that Canelo was definitely drained and that had he not been the fight could have been very different
Then tell me why he would fight his last two fights at a catchweight of 155 instead of just making the normal 154 limit He received a lot of criticism for the catchweights (rightfully so) So why do you think he insisted on these catchweights?
IMO, Canelo wasn't drained at all. He's always had trouble with boxers who are known for being light on their feet. If you want further proof, go watch his fight with Larry Mosley on youtube. Mayweather practically shut him out over twelve rounds. Lara was also able to outbox him with relative ease, winning 8 out of 12 rounds. Canelo does have a lot of potential, but he needs to hire a real trainer if he wants to emerge as one of the best fighters in boxing.
