you have no room to talk about anyone cheating while shamelessly defending that despicable rotten POS Margarito just because he spoke to you.

ROFLMAO If Floyd hit GGG all he'd do is scratch where the "blow" landed. He couldn't beat an egg poor Fluffy Floyd

ROFLMAO I was waiting for someone to start that lunacy That's the only thing you can think of to try & defend the two cowardly cheats you idolize. Show me one iota of proof Antonio ever broke any rules, c'mon Motor Mouth lol. As for him speaking to me Ive known him since 1999 How many years is that ??
I'm proud to defend Antonio I sure as heck couldn't lower myself to defend Floyd IV gate Mayweather jr or Saul beefeater Alvarez that's for sure. That's coming up for 24 years since I first met Antonio in Ft Worth Texas

    Very simple to explain, Shadow.

Maidana fought the fight Canelo should have fought...he roughed Floyd up from the get go, and managed to take five clear rounds, stun Floyd, and put a serious scare into him.

Canelo was bigger and stronger than Maidana and might well have pulled it off had he fought like Maidana did.

But somehow, he though he could box with Floyd.
He definitely could not, and so he lost by a wide margin, 10-2 or 11-1.

It was the same Floyd in both instances.

One opponent allowed Floyd to dictate how things unfolded.

    The other did not.

You need to reevaluate how professional boxing is scored if you think Maidana won five clear rounds.

And Floyd never had the same legs or power after going back to 147 after Canelo.

Floyd fought a much different fight against Canelo. Advaned techniques were employed, the hand speed was much different. Floyd used a ton more upper body movement against Canelo, he was skillfully avoiding shots. Against Maidana we didn't see any of that kind of stuff. Floyd was much slower and more basic against Maidana.

What you say is true, however. Maidana fought a great fight, but if we're honest his long arms were a factor. Maidana's long arms and awkward style gave Floyd fits. Canelo had more hand speed and power than Maidana, but his ability to land was different, because Floyd was more elusive and because he didn't have the reach Maidana's had.

Canelo isnt good enough as evident by Trout, Lara, Mayweather, GGG1, Bivol, and in spots v Cotto.

Maybe it's you who needs to get some tutoring ....on how to read.

I said Maidana won FIVE clear rounds, not seven.

Floyd won BOTH Maidana fights, but both were much closer than the Floyd - Canelo bout.

That was quite different. Loma was limited due to an injury, and Teo wasn't handicapped with a crippling catchweight that benefitted the older man like Canelo was. Also Loma wasn't the clear P4P #1 like Floyd was.
"The judges were in on it" :risas3::meparto:You funny, Pimp. I need a good laugh. Thx bro.
No one believed that then and no one belives that now. Canelo was not supposed to win, no one thought he would win, no one saw it as a passing of the touch. Floyd was heavily favored to win as the clear P4P #1. Canelo was a fringe P4P Top 10 fighter who had to kill himself to make a catchweight that tipped the scales in Floyd's favor even more. It was an impossible task for Canelo to win, but he still gave Floyd a hell of a fight.
He put on a clinic alright, of how to bite on feints, on how to foul in the clinch, on how to bend down below the knees. :qmeparto:

    Yes.

    True.

We both saw he same thing.

    We're agreed on WHAT happened.

You just don't seem to understand WHY it happened.

So once again, the difference rested with the opponents.

Maidana fought a rough, physical fight and threw the kitchen-sink at Floyd, forcing him out of his comfort zone.

Canelo tried to box with Floyd, and didn't have the skills. Thus, for Floyd, it was just another day at the office.

    Simple really.
There probably haven't been two bouts in the history of pugilism where the old compare-and-contrast analysis was simpler, where the differences were so obvious.

If it was just another day at the office, then why did Floyd look like a boxing rookie biting over 30 times on Canelo feints. Why did Floyd continually dip his upper body so his head was below his knees, clearly an illegal move. And why in round 4 did Floyd get Canelo in a head lock and crank his neck? Why did Floyd continually throw rabbit punches and other illegal shots in the clinch?

The amount of fouling and desperation tactics by Floyd against Canelo were obvious if you were paying attention. But you like many continue to exist in a warped reality as far as what happened in that match and how competitive it was. Yes Floyd won, yes he landed some great shots and showed a very high level of skill, but he also fought an incredibly dirty and desperate fight at times, and in the final round was clearly stalling, not engaging which got boos from the crowd. Not to mention Floyd being chastised by his own father in the corner about needing to change his gameplan due to how much success Floyd Sr saw Canelo as having. This against a fighter crippled by a pathetic catchweight which Floyd needed in order to try and weaken Canelo. Look, Floyd's performance against Canelo gets praised, and rightly so to an extent, he did impress at times and clearly won the fight. But it was not the perfect master class that many people think it was. It was not a one-sided schooling.

If anyone was schooled it was Canelo schooling Floyd on feinting effectively and getting an opponent to bite, repeatedly, over and over again, as if Canelo was the experienced veteran and Floyd was the rookie. And don't even try to deny that Floyd looked like a rookie in the early rounds constantly biting on feints and pulling back over and over again anticipating shots from Canelo that never came. Now granted Canelo didn't take advantage of the feints as much as he could have, but the gameplan Canelo employed was definitely working in the early rounds. It wasn't until round 7 that Floyd started to pull away and really assert himself. That match was far closer than many want to believe it was.

It was a typo. He won the 5th round clearly and maybe the first. That crap Maidana does where he smothers his work and lands wild, grazing shots isn’t conducive to winning decisions. That’s why the only close decision Maidana won in his career was against the blown up ghost of Erik Morales.
