I cant see it going any differently at that weight. If they fought at 160 Canelo would have a chance of getting a KO, but I still think he loses a decision.
Nah you called the win tarnished and went on to discredit the Marquez and Pacquiao wins too. A major difference between Canelo then and now was the addition of Clenbuterol, yet you're bragging that Canelo would decapitate Floyd but you're clearly not Scrutinizing Canelo for the proven steroid use. It seems very hypocritical.
Pretty much this. I’ve been thinking about this topic for a bit and my conclusion is that Clenelo is a very good fighter who has had a great career thanks to the powers that be deciding that he will be the “face of boxing” regardless if his in-ring performances justify it or not. He is the only “great” fighter that fans have had to be told and reminded on a regular basis that he’s great. There has never been an organic understanding of his greatness. He has never had a breakout performance that made fans stand up and take notice; at least not like Mayweather / Corrales, Hopkins / Trinidad, Jones / Toney, Pacquiao / Barrera etc. At his absolute best he has shown that he be reasonably competitive with other B level guys and extremely biased judging will handle the rest.
Where am I wrong? Floyd disregarded the 144 catchweight in the Marquez fight. Floyd used illegal IV fluids in the Pac fight. Canelo looked like he was about to get stopped by Floyd, yet ate FLUSH punches from GGG, Ryder, Saunders, Smith, Kovalev, and Plant like they were nothing. Why? He wasn't drained to death against them.
Yea he was so badly weight drained that 3 years later he was fighting Liam Smith at 154 pounds. He wasn't nearly stopped against Floyd, he had no answer for Floyd, he was demoralised, he wasn't hurt.
Lots of guys kill themselves making weight only to fall short a half pound or a pound. Those 2 pounds were crucial.
When did Canelo looked like he was going to get stopped by Floyd? Floyd paid the penalty for the JMM overweight and came in fat and sluggish vs a perfectly in shape JMM. How many excuses do you have? Or is your Asian fever kicking in again?
Floyd cheated Marquez on the scales. Floyd used illegal IV fluids in the Pac fight. Floyd refused to let Maidana wear his preferred gloves in the first fight and then in the rematch. Floyd fought a drained Canelo. No excuses. Just facts. Seems like your jungle fever doesn't allow you to see any wrong.
Your Asian Flu is strong tonight okanawa - Floyd didn't use anything illegal that wasn't commissioned or sanctioned. -The commission would've noted that. As far as gloves go, you cant just walk into a fight saying here are custom made gloves blah blah blah. Who cares, he lost both times anyways. MM couldn't stop AMIR KHAN FFS. Gloves don't matter, skill does. But keep up with the excuses. Mayweather is the best fighter of this gen, end of story.
Marquez = disregarded the catchweight Pac = violated WADA code and used illegal IV fluids (the irony of Floyd who was the one who had a needle in his arm with a drip feed in his living room ) Maidana = wouldn't let the man wear his preferred gloves in either fight Canelo = green and drained Castillo = gifted a win Fought Guerrero, Ortiz, Berto, and a 0-0-0 fighter who had never boxed a single professional round. You don't have to convince me that you're the Supreme Cuck of ESB. We all know what your internet search history would reveal.
Youre the one on the cusp of moving to Manilla to crap in buckets to get a whiff of Jinky's stinkys - you weirdo. WADA, lol theyre all cash grab organizations - Like going to Church every Sunday. Maidana should've turned down the fight if he didn't like the terms. MM showing his bich side there - pretty sad if you ask me - was Marcos broke? Beat Castillo twice fair and square against an ATG LW
