Overrated Fighter Canelo. 2 losses on his resume and should be at least 1 more to Triple G if not 2. I hope Charlo beats this Archie Comic Book character wannabe.
Thought he lost vs Lara as well. But Canelo is still a great active boxer despite the A side bs and questionable scorecards troughout his career.
Clottey broke his hand in the 4th round against Margs. And Clottey is hardly a reuptable win. Margarito had a nothing career outside of cheating Cotto w handwraps. Literally both Lara and Trout fights are regularly disputed w legitimate positions. Saying Canelo beat both is a stretch but the Trout KD sold me on that fight. The Lara fight, however, really should've been a draw (at best for Canelo). Since when did scores matter? I'm sure you had Paul Williams beating Lara too? I'm sure you had Canelo drawing in 1st GGG fight? I'm sure you had Ward inexplicably beating Kovalev in fight 1? Well, your scorecard for Floyd DLH was bad so you probably had all the above scores. Spence was the "big fish" going into Crawford fight and now - people like you - talkin bout card accident from 5 years ago lmao...as if Garcia and Ugas fights never happened. Please check the list and add your nonsense if it isnt alrdy there. This content is protected The Manny that Floyd beat couldnt even stop punch drunk Rios...a dude Tim feather Bradley stopped. The ATG Manny was available to fight for years but Floyd complained about promotional problems and hat sizes...but few regard the Manny that Floyd beat as the best Manny. It was a great win nonetheless but it wasnt prime versus prime. Crawford Spence was undefeated versus undefeated and going into the fight many people (yourself included) were fancying Spencer...there's a reason for that. If Crawford becomes 3 weight undisputed champion his career is objectively better than Floyd's as no male boxer has been a 2 weight undisputed champ besides Bud (although Inoue and Usyk are working on that now).
DLH did have a rematch clause and Floyd had 1 interim fight (Hatton) but I think it was only for a year or something? Floyd retired after DLH/Hatton to avoid the rematch...
Pac was caught in his living room with a needle in his arm that was hooked up to a drip feed with IV fluids. Pac also had ultra low T/E ratios consistent with steroid use in the Guerrero and Ortiz fights.
Clottey was 30-1 and his only loss was a BS DQ loss in a fight that he was way ahead on points, Clottey was considered the dark horse of the division for quite a few years and quite alot of people thought he beat Cotto aswell so it was a solid win for Margarito. Mosley utterly destroyed Margarito and people said it was his best performance in years. Canelo still won both fights did he not ? so your opinion on it is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Both were highly rated Jr Middleweights that Canelo beat so again Canelo wasn't some green fighter that people like to claim. He was a world champion with over 40 professional fights and 7 world championship wins that's not a green fighter. Stop being so dramatic Lara/Williams is widely considered a robbery, Canelo/Golovkin 1 was close and a draw wasn't that outrageous just the 118-110 scorecard which was terrible. Ward/Kovalev 1 was another close fight but the knockdown from Kovalev seemed to seal the deal. Mayweather/ODLH is not considered a robbery nor is it considered controversial or that close compared to the fights above. I had Golovkin/Canelo 1 7-5 for Golovkin, and Ward/Kovalev 1 6-6 with KD being difference for your information. 8-4 for Mayweather/ODLH is a perfectly reasonable score it wasn't that close after 6th round, and you suggesting that it was a draw is alot worse than my 8-4 scorecard. He was involved in two car crashes one in 2019 and another in 2022 so i'm not sure where you're getting "5 years ago" from. He's fought 4 times in 4 years with reports than he could have neurological issues, it's silly to claim a fighter who's been involved in two horrific car crashes and only fought 4 times in 4 years is 100 percent. Nonsense ? just facts from me nothing else. And Mayweather wasn't in his prime either against Pacquiao or Canelo so what's your point ? why is it with you its always "Canelo is green" "Pacquiao was past it" but yet no mention of Mayweather being in his late 30s ? or fighting at a weightclass that wasn't his best weight vs Canelo ? As for Pacquiao not being able to stop Rios ? so beating an opponent 12-0 is a bad thing ? Pacquiao went the distance fairly often at Welterweight, infact he went 12 rounds 15 times at Welterweight so that's not a really a sign of Pacquiao being past it ? i'm confused by that logic. And finally as for Pacquiao/Mayweather it was a fight between P4P number 1 and P4P number 3 which is higher than what Spence was ? many people also thought Pacquiao could beat Mayweather aswell ? and Pacquiao is an ATG unlike Spence. Well i disagree because opposition is a factor for me aswell and beating Charlo isn't enough, and Crawford's resume isn't filled with a whole host of big names Mayweather's opposition overall is still alot better. If Crawford beat Charlo and Canelo then yes he would have a strong argument, but the likely hood of Crawford moving up to Super Middleweight and beating Canelo is slim.
All I know it that Floyd still has a bunch of internet losers' feelings hurt ten years later. And they don't even like the guy who he beat. That's what greatness does to people.
Gonna have to disagree. He just started getting older...like everyone else. He had 3 major stoppages in a row in DLH (retirement), Hatton (in hindsight, predictable), and Cotto (still kinda surprising). He followed that up with 4 decision wins over Margs, JMM, Mosley, and Clottey. The Margs fight shouldve also been a stoppage to be honest. His output peaked w Margarito and came progressively down partly from fighting more difficult/different styles in JMM and Bradley. There's no evidence Manny used PEDs.
the excuse of draining him is void. Canelo built his career on draining and weight bullying his opponents, no sympathy
You contradict yourself. You say Canelo won both fights w Lara and Trout so any other opinion is irrelevant. Then you say Kovalev scored a KD over Ward which sealed the deal...yet Ward got the "win". And youve only indirectly supported my original point that the official decision is not the be all end all. JLC got a draw or beat Floyd in 1st fight, Lara got a draw or beat Canelo, Trout had a case albeit not the strongest. Clottey was never anything. A good contender. In a 4 belt era he was never champion so stop bigging him up to push a fake narrative. Margarito's biggest claim to fame is that Floyd ducked him...which itself was nothing. After that he's known as a cheat that robbed Cotto of his career and through the grace of karma lost an eye. Styles make fights and defensive fighters almost always have longer careers. See Floyd, Lara, Rigo, JMM, BHop, Toney, Winky, Willie Pep, etc. Floyd retired (technically) undefeated. He had his last great performance against Canelo and he was 35 or 36 years old - was a remarkable performance indeed. We never saw Floyd have a dominant performance after that. The 2nd "car crash" Spence was in was a damn fender bender...iirc Spence didnt even go to the hospital and some underage kid hit his car. You trying so hard to discredit Bud its despicable.
Again I liked Floyd the fighter so I'm not trying to sound like a hater but he definitely did a lot of things to irritate people. And the whole TBE thing is nothing more than a joke...except to his followers (some of them even here) who literally think Floyd was the best ever. Its not even defensible lol
When Was Floyd gonna stop Canelo again? lol - Nah, you can't back that up. Even though your Asian flu is wearing down your deleriums are still strong son. TBE is funny. Floyd is low key funny which is why you follow him on his social media
