The results suggested he didn't. Against Maidana, he didn't perform at anywhere near the level he did against Canelo. How else do you explain it? But regardless, the point is that he clearly did in fact slow down, he fought Maidana in a much more basic style and it resulted in Maidana having more success than Canelo. For some reason he was much easier to hit, he looked slower, not as elusive, etc.

At first I thought he threw the fight looking for a rematch and stir up more controversy. But nah Oskee was washed up by that point and just didn't have the gas tank anymore. Lots of road work for those guys back in the day.

Ten years after his match with Canelo, Floyd is finally approaching intellectual adolescence.

Canelo at 168 is past is one dimensional and past his prime. Canelo was in his prime when he fought Floyd. Despite the myth that he was inexperienced he had 42 pro fights and was in reality very experienced. He was in his physical prime and at his best weight. Watching the fight its clear, he was faster, threw more punches and boxed better than the version in recent years that just comes plodding forward throwing one haymaker at a time with crap gas tank.

The fan boys had to creative a narrative that he was drained by 1'5lbs and inexperienced and its amazing how many still run with it. In reality Floyd was way too fast and slick for any version of Canelo. The current version would get beaten even easier.

Never in the history of boxing has a fighter with 42 pro fights and 7 wC fights been labelled at green until canelo got his ass kicked.

PS. Floyd was not in his prime when he spanked Canelo.

Pbf was 35 faded and in his 5th weight class you bitter hating ****. I'd rather be 23 than 35 or 36 in a boxing match ask loma how that worked when at 33 he fought teo who was younger than canelo was when he fought pbf. Great win better than any win your God pac had.:deal:

Yet pbf wasn't anywhere close to what he was excuse maker he was old and faded and still won going away. Every pbf win you have an excuse but excuses are par for the course with your goofy ass. It must suck to be you living your whole life using excuses lmfao! Along with the goofys who like your bitchmade excuse hate filled posts.

Fighting guys at he right time?? Did you not see what happened to loma who fought teo when he was younger than pbf and teo was younger than canelo??? Being that old isn't an advantage against elite fighters who are young and hungry. That fight was supposed to be a passing of the torch fight the judges were in on it. It was supposed to be Canelo's night. Out with the old in with the new had the fight actually been close canelo was getting the decision. Lucky for pbf he put on a clinic or he would've been robbed hell one judge still tried to rob him ffs.

Floyd also broke his hands in basically every fight, being out weighed by around 20 lbs after he moved from 140 I'd reckon, besides Manny.
