Eh Mayweather takes the kids heart and Canelo is never the same again after getting brutalised and knocked out.

Not for me, The fight would sell, the Mexican fan base would jump on it and we'd see very high PPV numbers. Business sense yes, there's money to be made, you're right.

Looking at the future of boxing, Pac and Mayweather are on their way out, Cotto too so we really are short on PPV stars, I can't see Berto ever making it, and Khan has not generated large numbers thus far. (I don't think.)
Alvarez is 20/21, build him up as this unstoppable monster, he has a huge mexican fanbase, market him to America (as they're doing) and develop a cash cow for the sake of the sport.

If he fights Floyd right now, he'll lose. Mayweather can do things that Canelo hasn't even seen yet, so in effect, Floyd wins and people will put a black mark against Alvarez.

I think this fight will defintely happen on Floyds way out. I also see Canelo vs Cotto when Cotto is about done.

Too much money to be made here, That kid Canelo brings in huge crowds and the PPV numbers would be through the roof.

GBP is weighing that fight, you don't want to damage Canelo's brand but making as much money as possible is the goal. Don't be surprised if Canelo tries to line up Chavez Jr., fails in that regard, then takes on Mayweather. A Chavez Jr. fight would be ideal as it means Canelo would be fighting a much lower risk opponent for what would generate nearly as much money, at least in Mexico as a Mayweather fight.

The fight would sell....BUT Mayweather would be critisized for taking on Alvarez instead of Martinez.

Not right now. Canelo is definitely not ready.

People are too pushy on Canelo but again they have a good point. He is holding a belt hostage. I think that is a big mistake on GBPs part. He is going to get rushed eventually and lose which all in all is not a bad thing for him to get his loss out of the way.

Do you guys know that he is only 21 years old. The kid just turned 21. I mean come on. He can finally get into a bar and people are expecting him to clean out his weight class.

This fight and the Pac fight will be made for Canelo but i dont think it will be made for about 2-3 more years.
Canelo will beat both at that time and like i have said for a while. Our super fight at that time will be Canelo-Khan. Both have tons of charisma, exciting styles and huge followings.

Canelo is a huge 154 his body is going to grow into a middleweight maybe super middleweight. I cant see Khan going above 154.

True but i think with a nutritionist they will keep him at those weights since alot of big fights are possible for him there.

Also i think Khan is actually taller than Canelo y a few inches. With Ariza i see him making the climb quite easy.

Mayweather needs to think about Cotto right now.

    Cotto is no pushover.

Canelo is actually a dangerous fight for Mayweather, due to his SIZE and his skill.

I don't think Canelo is fully polished, but regardless, Mayweather is getting older, and may be slowing down, and Canelo is a much bigger fighter who can probably take Mayweather's punches, and use his size to try and wear Mayweather down.

On top of that, he has solid skills.

It's no walk in the park for Mayweather.
