Floyd May is in the public spotlight ("more or less"). He could do BETTER as far as certain things! I mean...."touching this BIG&BAD WORLD is one thing..
He is himself. You are yourself. I am myself.
Floyd May has given some "brilliant interviews" if you went there!
He's BRASH you imagine. He flaunts his money (I know for fact I wouldn't do same).
John Wilkinson, secretary & -founder- UWBCAFO-I work to --echelon-- "the whole of the SPORT". 860-515-7680 tele/ (text is fine too). IBO is the "worst cancer" happening in all boxing these days. The FIRST &MAJOR FOUR making -huge mistake- "allowing" their belts to "mix" outside of the FIRST GROUP.
I put the "value" of a '2e' at approx FIVE U.S.A. States.

It should go main-stream production a LOOK BACK at that MATCH.
But what else can we do about that here? WHAT? Stay on topic until you see every last drop of juice dry- up?

I don't know where you get that body shots don't count just as much as a head shot. I see a nice body shot that visibly effects the fistic actions of an opponent, I'm going to fully credit that body shot accordingly.

Did you see in Marquez-Pacquiao 4, Marquez driving right hand leads deep into the pit of Pacquiao's stomach? Subsequent shots and even feints to go to the body had Pacquiao dropping his hand and flinching to defend the shot to the body.
Those shots should weigh heavily in scoring a round.

Floyd lost rounds on inactivity? Bottom line is he lost those rounds.
If a fighter it active in a round and scores here and there, while the other is plain out inactive, the active fighter wins the round.

Was Mayweather getting pummelled to the head vs Castillo? No, but he was scoring well enough to the head, his body shots setting up those connects upstairs.

If you're going to give Mayweather credit for keeping distance and barely grazing a fighters head area with a jab, you best score punches to the body and subsequent shots to the head whether they're grazing or not.

There's a fine line to scoring, but a fighter doesn't have to land flush flush on the jaw to score points during a round.

As I said previously, from round 6 on up, Castillo dominated Floyd Mayweather. Dominated him!!!

    DOMINATION!

But Floyd controlled from round 5, and did well enough in rounds 8 and 11 to win them on the cards. Castillo controlled the second part of the fight, but he didn't whitewash FMJ either.

114-112 either way would have been acceptable. But it's certainly no robbery.

I suggest that you watch the fight again, because the above rant is just that-a rant. And there was no domination by either guy, and if I had to pick a guy who dominated, it sure the hell wasn't Castillo.

    Maidana lost to Mayweather 7-5
Castillo beat Mayweather by a point although he didn't get the judges nod.

Oh please. Floyd lost by a clear margin. Anyone who says otherwise is blinded by fandom and racism, and maybe, just maybe, stupidity. Cards were a joke.

    I agree!
I gave Mayweather the first 5 rounds. Castillo was hesitant to get started, I feel he was intimidated by Mayweather's speed and quickness as Castillo literally did nothing the first 4 rounds.
Castillo started to get going in the latter part of round 5, but not enough for me to give him the round.

I do feel though that Castillo dominated the 2nd half of the fight taking 5 of the last 7 rounds and most rather easily.
Castillo was punishing Mayweather to the body.

A dominating 2nd half by Castillo imo, but still not enough to overcome losing the first 5 rounds.

    7-5 Mayweather.

Floyd's body language at the end is all you need to see who won. He knew he got bullied in there. He lost clearly.
