This is Mayweather trying to cheaply enhance his legacy. He wants that middleweight title on his cv so he can compare himself to SRR and mouth off about being TBE.

It's not the worst fight but still kinda BS

Mayweather is looking to fight fighters he's allready dominated.

There's Khan, Pacquiao, and if he wants to fight for the middleweight title, he should fight GGG who most know is a much dangerous fight to any fighter than Cotto.

Its an embarrasment that the supposed best fighter in the world is set on fighting re-treads

I agree that he's already very familiar with Cotto and winning the lineal MW title would significantly enhance his legacy...assuming, of course, that the fight would be at 160. If not, it's a bull**** fight.

they were shouting it from the roof tops when cotto ko'd rodriguez saying that a cotto trained roach would kill floyd. funny how they try to insinuate a trainer has such a resounding affect after 1 fight especially after some of those very same people downplay cottos issues with not having a trainer leading into a pac fight :tired

This fight will be insanely good at 160.

Zzzzzzz......... Cotto needs to face someone relevant at 160, GGG would knock his ass out in a few rounds, Floyd would dance around the ring for 12 rds as he always does.

Floyd should face Con next, maybe he'll finally get another knock out that way :D

    Lol good point

Also if cotto were to fight ggg and beat him, we definitely gon hear that floyd won't fight cotto again.

"Cotto just beat the boogeyman GGG, floyd don't want that rematch"

"Man this cotto would KO floyd"

Yeah I said You'd say that, also said I don't care because we don't really know what's going on behind the scenes so we have no idea who is ducking who.

Therefore by your logic PAC is a cherry picker, your words not mine.

And then fight gets signed...then they're "floyd cherry picking again"
Floyd wins wide..then it's "cotto is shot" or "cotto is washed up"
Rinse and repeat. They did the same **** with shane then Canelo. Floyd is damned if he do and damned if he don't.

Floyd had cotto out on his feet in the 12. A check hook would've knocked cotto out cold but I see now why Floyd carried cotto.

No one wants to see a rematch.
