Haters like to complain (mostly Pac fans, now GGG Fans) about Floyd being a boring fighter.... Yada, yada...... Truth is this particular fight was a hell of a fight.. Props to Cotto fans, and people supporting Cotto for the performance he did in pushing Floyd to his limits. 154 COTTO was certainly better than the version Pac fought at 145...

Punks want to say "oh pac koed Cotto, and Floyd went the distance" but fail to realise Mayweather at the higher weights abandoned being a puncher and adopted the style of boxer/puncher.. Great performance by Floyd in a hell of a challenge. 8-4 Floyd...:deal

Pacquiao-Marquez IV is the Fight of the Decade. Beautiful, gorgeous, extreme level combat with a brutal ending.

Styles make fights. There is no version of Cotto that can beat Pacquiao. Pacquiao smokes the version Mayweather fought. Pacquiao is ALL WRONG for Cotto. ALL. WRONG.

Just saying it like it is.... I like Floyd but I'm not a die hard... **** it, if Floyd wins he wins and, the only close fights of his career since 2012 was Cotto and Maidana 1.... Everything else including the Pac fight were blowouts..."one of" does not mean the best fight since, you have to get the hate out of your eyes, its blinding.

Yep...Floyd chose to use a more flat footed style in that one and lay on the ropes a lot. He took more punishment than he is accustomed to for that choice. But, even then, clear win for Floyd. He almost had Cotto out of there in the 12th it appeared. Not sure if he even realized it. Cotto came to fight and without having to cut as much weight he was in better shape and stronger than when Pac fought him.

I think Pac still gets him at 154. Styles make fights. But, Pac has never been in with an opponent who weighed in over 151. So, it is hard to say if he would be as dominant as he was against Cotto at 145 lbs. Pac would take more punishment I think.

Algieri, Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, and Rios were all heavier than 154 pounds on fight night. Maybe even Cotto.
