Martinez vs Cotto for me. Not that I think he's better than Mayweather, I just think Martinez is more relevant coming into 2011 and it would be a much better fight to watch. I think Martinez takes them both, too much power, speed & movement.

I have a soft spot for Miguel...so, I'd rather not see him in against either guy, frankly.

 That's not really Cotto's style, Bernie. He'd more likely get into something highly dramatic and difficult, win, lose, or draw. Lots of bleeding.

Floyd isn't a 5'6'' 140lber I'd rather it was a Martinez vs Mayweather. He does that I'll be a ***** for life. Cotto would get outboxed by Floyd, but I don't think he deserves to be destroyed by Martinez. It would still be a good fight, but would rather see Mayweather vs Cotto. At least that would be competitive. I remember Cotto was Floyd's most dangerous fight yrs ago, now it's not if Floyd wins, but how? Floyd should fight Martinez period.

If Floyd fights at all next year it has to be against Sergio because that's the only way to one-up Pac if he isn't going to face Manny. Fighting Cotto would be a step backwards for Floyd because Miguel isn't ranked high on the P4P and he's someone Pac has destroyed. Martinez-Cotto sounds good to me. Would love to see Sergio finally get his golden opportunity to reach superstardom.

If any other recent middleweight champ wanted to fight todays version of Miguel Cotto, fans and jounalists alike would have laughed in his face. Martinez talks about it, and it's supposed to be okay? It's bull****, and should not be tolerated, let alone talked about as if it is a real fight.

A 154lbs championship wouldn't hurt negotiations tho, IF Floyd could beat Cotto. (Do you agree?)

Wouldn't/Couldn't hurt, Billing Manny/Mayweather as a unification bout.
(Could help mask a lil' all the bull**** leading up to a possible fight)

I'd love both fights but if I had to choose I'd rather see Martinez vs Cotto.

Floyd already thinks his offers on the table are fair enough despite the majority of fans disagreeing. He isn't going to make a move to provide an incentive for Pacquiao. Besides, Floyd doesn't fight for belts anymore, as proven in his bout against Mosley. Moreover Cotto is a Top Rank player which makes it even harder to materialize a fight with Floyd.

I'd rather see Floyd fight Sergio. Maravilla is a bigger fish to fry even though he isn't as big of a draw as Cotto at the moment. Floyd could be waiting for Sergio's name to blow up which can very well happen if Sergio defeats Cotto.

My natural feelings tell me Floyd is done. I don't see him fighting anymore due to his legal troubles, long inactivity, lost of motivation, and the fact that there isn't a fighter who fits his criteria as a qualified opponent. Mosley appears to be the last person who was a top P4P fighter, is a good draw, someone who wasn't tied to Arum, willing to give Floyd the lion's share, AND was willing to participate in OSDT.
