Mayweather Vs. Cotto. Who Will Get More Love From The Mexican Crowd On May 5th?

I hooked up with a Puerto Rican girl in my sociology class who lived by there and talked about the rivalry there.

 

Mayweather for sure...A Mexican wouldn't cheer for a boricua fighter

 

It's f'n crazy bro, I been through many brawls with the Mexicans here.. I'm cool with a lot of them too though. It's just like any other hood I guess; but when it comes to boxing it's all about nationality, and both the PR's n Mexicans take pride in that ****.

Lol.. My wife is from Bushwick, that's more by East NY. That hood is mostly Black n PR.. Not too many Mexicans.

Are crowds at MGM mainly Mexican? I know it's 5/5, but does that mean the crowd will be a mainly Mex crowd?

 

Actually, from my experience, Mexicans here in Cali love Cotto.

 

Majority of Mexicans probably will be going for Cotto because of the latino factor.

Yup. The rivalry is only relevant when we meet each other. At least in my family. My dad would never order a Mayweather fight, but he loves to see Cotto fight and loved Tito Trinidad.
