You don't think that maybe Mayweather is banking on Cotto's better days being behind him? He just may show up with a full tank and pull a Castillo !!!
so why is this fight going to happen? Floyd was in Florida recently, and it's not too far from puerto rico. Sounds like a rumor just like fighting Martinez @ 160.
As awesome as itd be to see these two fight.... I realllly think Mayweather is in Puerto Rico for vacation.....or some sort of cameo in the new Fast and the Furious that they are currently filming over there.
It is possible!!! If it was Williams we wouldn't think much of it seeing how he used to train there and most likely has some contacts there and some squeezes!!! However, I believe this is Mayweather's first visit there....going to Miami doesn't mean that you go to Puerto Rico when there are many other Carribean stops.
Cotto is damaged goods now. He got stunned by Yuri Foreman for **** sake. This would have been a great fight a ways back , but not so much anymore. I'd still watch it though.
Yea, it doesn't make sense to me. emmanuel wants to fight in November. The rumors say Floyd is back in December against Cotto. Floyd couldn't do business with bob ayrum recently, so I don't see how a fight w/ Cotto happens.
