The only thing I'll say about that is that Arum was exceedingly nice when he spoke about Mayweather recently, and he doesn't want to burn any bridges because of a potential mega fight with Floyd and Manny. In my perfect scenario Pac/Margarito in Nov Floyd/Cotto in Dec Manny/Floyd in May 2011 Chances of that happening - not good
If this fight actually happened it would make Floyd and Arum look like idiots. Your telling me Floyd can't negotiate a fight with Pacquiao but he can with another Top RAnk fighter? It just looks bad all around. This fight won't ever happen. Cotto's not old or shot enough for Floyd to step in the ring against anyway.
i think cotto and mayweather would actually be a pretty good fight esp since manny in cotto corner now everybody keeps talking about floyd not fighting because of roger that's shows you how much a trainer means to a fighter and i think steward teaches him how to break him down if you watch the mayweather vs castillo fight castillo stalk him all night (btw maywether lose that fight ) and i think mayweather dont have the power to stop cotto.cotto by a knock late rounds ....yeah i said it 2 tears in a bucket
Cotto would get stopped. Man, why doesn't Pac just show up to some HBO afterdark fight and call out PBF. Pac should yell out that PBF is scared to face him and then PBF would have to retaliate by taking the fight or else his fans will walk. Enough bull**** already.

**** THIS FIGHT!!!! Honestly, wtf! Cotto shouldn't even be mentioned as an opponent for the fighter who is supposed to be P4P #1. Seriously, wtf is up with boxing! Am I the only one that feels this way? I love Cotto, but Mayweather needs to man up and actually take on a challenge. Sure, he did fight Mosely, but enough of the picking and fight the fighters that deserve it. Stopping picking on worn fighters Money!
stlys make fights..i think this is a tuff fight for floyd..cotto is tuff as nails..and will give floyd fits.
The only weakness Cotto has is he cuts. He might be able to outbox Mayweather in the early rounds of the fight but if he cuts he will lose. This is a 50-50 fight where either fighter could win.
