    I'm watching the fight right now on Showtime with Showtime commentary. I could've sworn the fight was on HBO with HBO commentary originally?? How do they do this???? Provide commentary after the fact as if watching for the first time???

    not sure what you refer to. but if thats the case. golden boy owns the rights to the fight just like top rank owns the rights to fight....they develop a video library.

    when they do this, they dub over with their announcers. this happens often.

    Did they manage to edit the HBO banners in the arena and replace it with Showtime? :lol:

    Sorry, I wish I could, but I saw it on TV. It's one of DISH NETWORK's Showtime channels.

    I saw they have Mayweather/Oscar and Mayweather/Hatton on Comcast On-Demand. Was curious as to how the **** it would look and sound.

    Believe it or not I think they did. I didn't see ANYTHING that said HBO on it during the whole broadcast.

    A bit the whole commentary sounded like they were in love with Floyd. On top of that they're acting like they sound is if they're watching the fight for the first time. "I think the judges will give Floyd this round..." huh??? I tell you I felt like in the twilight zone or something.

    yeah it's on demand, they also have Mosley, Ortiz, Marquez, and Hatton.

    I am not watching but GBP owns the rights to the fight. In cases like this GBP will use the international feed announcers not the HBO announcers.

    ...wonder if they have a voiceover of Lenon's "It's Showtime" over Buffer's "Let's Get Ready to Rumble!" also. Kind of like those foreign movies with the English-speaking voiceovers that don't match the lip movements.
