Boxing lesson? Who's faced looked worse? Oscar didn't even look like he had been in a fight. Floyd barely did fuk all. At least oscar forced the fight, threw a hell of a lot more punches. There wouldn't have been a fight if Oscar didn't go head first chasing Floyd. If that's a boxing lesson to you, you don't know **** about boxing:lol:

Cheers friend. I'd be picking Money straight up by KO if it wasn't for that weird wrist rumour.

first time in the pub i watched it i had it a draw- the crowd was so pro oscar, he was busier , bringing the fight to floyd, when he got tagged - he covered well by retaliating- although it wasnt clean. it was a **** fight- not many clean exchanges and hard as **** to score live - cos the crowd was so pro oscar.

but watching it that night- with the sound off, floyd clearly won at least 7 rounds- 9 in my book. but live- i swear the crowd was so rowdy and pro oscar- it clearly swayed people in the gym , and the arena - many people were actually surprised floyd won.

I don't agree with Quartey outjabbing Oscar though. He did when Oscar was tentative following the knock down in the 6th-9th round but rest of the fight the jab at worst was even.

I didn't quite agree with either. Quartey did well when he set up other shots off the jab (namely that hard straight right). Most of the time though the sole jabs where being met with parrys. Oscar himself was losing rounds by not doing everything after the 6th. I agree with you there. I've always believed that Oscar was really hurt after the 6th, thats why he was a little shocked and wasn't putting together those combinations that where winning him the majority of the pre-6th rounds.

I'm more inclined to agree with your mentioning of a tactically defeated Cotto who just looks to make it out of the fight. I think at this point in his career, with the way his mobility has been looking for the past couple of fights, that Floyd won't be able to get to a Cotto who is willing to accept a decision loss.

A TKO loss wouldn't surprise me though.

    7-5 Oscar.. I can't argue with 6-6 or 7-5 Floyd though.
