    Would Mayweather have been as famous or a prize fighter like he is if it wasn't for his fight against De La Hoya? Before his fight against De La Hoya, many casual fans didn't know who Mayweather Jr was. After that fight, it seemed like everyone knew him.

    The De la hoya fight made both Mayweather and Pacquiao superstars.

    It made them Superstars but people knew who Floyd was, they just didn't care to watch him as his personality and style didn't match.

    With the build up of 24/7 and him being an ******* Pretty Boy - It changed his persona.

    I think Floyd would of became a big star, not like he is now though.
