I can't think of anybody who wouldn't get knocked out by that punch. To be honest I was amazed that Duran was walking around a minute later. That's the type of shot where your eyes roll back and you wake up 5 minutes later.
And BlizzyBlizz, and alexthegreat, jackory harris and every other juvenile tool that backs May on here.
That's irrelevant. The guy had great wins but he also had great loses you can't just overlook that because you happen to like him. People make too many excuses for Duran period.
I literally have 2 ****s for the amount that I care about his losses to Hagler, Leonard and Hearns. Those were great fighters and Duran was by far the smallest man.
I respectfully disagree there would have been quite a few and I'm sure the chin checkers would agree.:good Duran is an ATG I'm not disputing that, what I am disputing is some of his fans, not you, who make excuses for all of his loses. There's not a boxer in history who gets more credit for his wins and more passes than Duran does when it comes to his loses from cramps, not motivated, out of shape, too small ect.. ect... and I'm tired of it. No other fighter gets away with it and it needs to be addressed.
Have Rummy or one of the other mods do a IP check then troll we're not the same and I've never had an alt nor will I ever, and I've been here since 2005.:deal
Would be a damn good fight at 135 or 140. Floyd was extremely offensive at the lighter weights while maintaining his defensive responsibilities. I think he wins by controlling the range. Floyd at the lower weights had really fast feet and he could get off and give movement to really frustrate Duran. If Duran can get inside and maul it could be an interesting night. Floyd damn sure wouldn't want to fight Duran the way he did Chavez.
Exactly PBF had too much speed for Duran back at 135 combine that with his reach advantage and his movement defense and the fact that he wouldn't fade, he had the style to give Duran fits.
All I see are people saying Duran spanks this or that but never provide reasons why. Talk freaking boxing. It wouldn't be a cake walk for either guy but at least break down why you think either wins. Floyd at those lower weights is probably faster than any opponent Duran ever faced including Leonard with has fast ass. Floyd has that quickness to go with his hand and foot speed.
