    117-111?

Oh, so what's Floyd going to do?

You do realize that Mora is a lanky 6 foot fighter, don't you?

Mora, while not faster than Forrest, nor with as much tallent, can get away with things that a shorter less rangy fighter can't get away with.

Mora could afford to counterpunch Forrest and possibly squeak out a decision against a guy that took him lightly.

Mayweather who is physically smaller than both men, by a NOTICABLE difference to say the least, will have one hell of a time trying to counterpunch Forrest who isn't exactly a reckless fighter.

Quartey uses an aggressive guard up style similar to Winky Wright and fights nothing like Mayweather, so that's in invalid comparison. Also, Forrest looked to be seriously affected by shoulder injuries during that fight and might have put on one of the worst performances of his career.

I would still wager Floyd to beat Forrest at 154lbs. Ok, LMW is not Floyd's natural fighting weight, but Mayweather would weigh about 150lbs so would not lose any speed.

The sooner Floyd comes back, the sooner the P4P debate is put to bed! If he comes back, Floyd will once again prove he's the best boxer in the world, P4P!

No disrespect to Quartey though who fought an intelligent fight in keeping a high guard and putting on pressure against a taller rangy boxing opponent.

I have trouble believing Mayweather would replicate a style similar to that in a fight against Forrest.

Then again, even for $20 mil, I don't if Floyd would risk his "legacy" over a fight with Vernon as it is too risky and would force Floyd to make the fight and be out of his comfort zone.

It's much easier to counterpunch a guy that's leaning foward and bringing the fight to you, than it is against a guy who's normally defensive.

Forrest would have a slight lean and jabbing him to the face would be INCREDIBLY difficult regardless of how much speed Floyd has with a single punch.

And you've never seen Floyd in with a guy like Forrest either. De La Hoya was face foward and aggressive, and was there to be counterpunched.

Ricky Hatton brought the fight right to Floyd, same with Baldomir and Judah for at least the first half of the fight.

Forrest could deliver pressure without throwing punches and Floyd would become increasingly frusterated as it would be very hard to land clean punches on Forrest.

    Awful post.

You do realise Mora and Floyd are completely different fighters? And that one is a natural 160, and that Forrest dominated him in the rematch when he actually bothered to turn up?

You are applying TOO much logic to deal with these idiots...

It's this simple. Mayorga beat Forrest, Floyd is better then mayorga, Floyd wins automatically. And since Mora beat Forrest as well, well I guess Floyd would only need to train for one week to beat someone Like Forrest, who loses to someone like Mora. :patsch

That's how they do it right?
But Forrest's range and skill makes this WAAY too tough a fight for Floyd to ever consider taking.
