From Schaefer; "So, assuming that Floyd handles the challenges ahead of him, do I believe that maybe sometime next year, or maybe a year from now, Cinco de Mayo in 2015, assuming Floyd keeps on winning, that we may see a Floyd-Danny Garcia fight? Absolutely. I can just imagine how much of an anticipated showdown that will be. He's young and he's going to be ready, and if the opportunity would have been today, he would fight him today. But, everything in its time." May of 2015 would be a great time for this fight. It would be like Hopkins vs. Taylor. The seemingly ageless vet vs. the undefeated young up and comer. Hopefully it happens, it almost certainly will if they both keep winning.
Angel Garcia says Danny Garcia will be ready to fight Mayweather next year May 2015: http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=500269
Void has been working on a fight with Christy Martin for a long time now, but Void could not knock out the last woman he beat up...........
Of course thats the plan, thats the reason why Garcia was on the undercard. Last Mega fight Mayweather will be in
Won't happen and doesn't need to happen. Danny Garcia, as well as Adrien Broner, Yurokis Gamboa or even Terrence Crawford do not need to fight a Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr., to establish a legacy for themselves individually when they have each other, as well as several other young or fairly young fighters out there, to fight and establish their own legacies against.
What I do know is that for someone who has watched and seen a lot of Danny Garcia I must stop underestimating him. He has improved since I 1st saw him against Ashley Theophane and clearly has more dimensions than was at first apparent. He is a true Philadelphia fighter and his management are astute. Yes he does not seem capable of beating Floyd but then again I am never picking against him again. His father Angel speaks the **** and Danny backs it up every time.
