    I'd like Mayweather/Alvarez.

That would be a massive event. And regardless of whether we're 100% sold on Alvarez to be the superstar they're hyping him to be, there is no doubt that fight would garner a lot of fanfare and it is also true that Mayweather looks pretty vulnerable at 154. He struggled past the corpse of De La Hoya, in truth. That vulnerability makes it interesting against a guy like Alvarez who is not in the habit of taking no for an answer.

Do you know how stupid this makes you look..?

Do you think Muhammad Ali thought he was going to lose ANY fight he was in 100%...? Do you think Lennox Lewis 100% knew he was going to lose up against any fighter..?

No fighter who fights to win, 100% in their mind goes into a fight knowing they are going to lose.

A fighter may take fights they are less confident in, but they still have that optimism and belief that they will find a way.

"Audley Harrison is a perfect example of this mentality"...

    You thick ****.

I think Guerrero could give Mayweather problems, i don't think it will be a easy fight.

Still would of been great if he fought Canelo..? But remember, Canelo is a 154 fighter! Nobody was forcing Manny Pac to face 154 fighters at 154!

People will be moaning if Floyd Mayweather does not fight Andre Ward soon enough.

If Mayweather really wants to enhance his legacy he should fight some of the fighters at 154, there's really not much left at 147, at light middle you have Alvarez, Lara, maybe Martinez if the moneys there?

If Welter is his natural weight, fighting these's guys will add to his legacy because he's considered the smaller man and they are fights he's more than capable of wining.

Why does Floyd Mayweather have to fight guys at 154..?

Why didn't Manny Pac have to fight guys at 154..?

Lets face it! Nobody NOBODY! at 140/147 beats Floyd Mayweather! he can only beat himself, by slowing down.

Floyd Mayweather to please some people has to go above and beyond the call of duty, maybe face Andre Ward at 168...?

To fight at 154 with fighters near there peak or genuine contenders is not beyond the call of duty PK, for someone of Mayweathers skill set it makes it a viable challenge fighting at that weight?

He doesn't have to PK. We really have no influence on who Floyd Mayweather is going to fight, by talking on a boxing forum. We're humbly suggesting there is at least one or two more potentially interesting fights at 154 that expand his options.

I quite like the Guerrero fight, I also like a Bradley fight, but beyond that there isn't a huge amount given the Pacquiao fight is never happening and he beat Marquez easily.

Guerrero has beaten 2 live and decent opponents at welterweight, people. It's not like he's a cherrypicked mug thats coming up in weight. The guy has pedigree.

Especially Aydin, who had the style to cause him a lot of issues (and did), but he came through it well.

    Absolute bollocks.

Canelo, Martinez, Kirkland, Pacman and even Bradley stand out far more then this.

The only relevant win he has is over Berto, who was coming off a loss to the distinctly average Ortiz.

This is just like the 2007-08 period where Mayweather avoided the big men (Mosely, Cotto, Margarito) to fight midgets coming up in weight (Hatton, Marquez).

Guerrero isn't that bad a fight truth be told, although style and size wise Mayweather holds all the advantages as per.

Im not sold on Alverez by a long shot but at 154 its a better fight than this imo.

Call me crazy, but i think Alvarez would stand a very good chance of beating Mayweather. I hope he's a massive underdog when they eventually meet, because i'm looking to make some money.

Floyd Mayweather is a 147 fighter, who has fought at 154! Why didn't Manny Pac get pressured into fighting fighters who where actually healthy, and comfortable at the weight. Also why didn't Manny Pac have to fight guys at 154! Why Floyd..? You want to know why..?

Because he is too good, Floyd Mayweather is too good. He's closer to 40 years of age now, than he is 30 years of age! and he is still too good. And deep down all you ****witts know..? The only way he is beaten is, if he faces a fighter who out weighs him, and the strength disadvantage is too much! Or if he slows down due to father time.

Thats it! and all you ****ing haters know this.

If every fighter was critical analysed like Floyd Mayweather is.

None of you people would be wanking over Carl Froch..? I want to see Carl Froch fight afew guys at CW, before you call him a warrior.

David Haye is British toughest, bravest fighter! Fighting guys out weighing him by 3 stone on average! Moving up to the heaviest hitting division, even though he had a shakey chin at CW.

    But anyway back on topic...

Deal with it guys, Floyd Mayweather is too good. He is in a lose/lose situation no matter who he fights. Manny Pac was always a easy fight, Mayweather would of probably knocked him out within 2 rounds! Considering how ****ing ******ed Manny Pac fights! Without his bionic speed/stamina/power that mysteriously disappeared!

Afew fighters would beat him bad!
