Guerrero's team sends out a press release with the intention of trying to generate demand and you clowns take it as if Floyd has anything to do with it.

Do any of you do any research at all? Shameful attempt to deflect attention away from Marquez starching Pac last weekend :verysad

he should win by decision, probably unanimous. guerrero is a tough sob but very hittable. floyd will tag him all nite.

Multiple threads on this **** too. Unreal.

The tards are desperately clinging to the hope
that Martinez isn't the one. Because if it is Sergio,
there's just nothing left to discuss. Mayweather would
be the undisputed king of the sport.

They are just desperately trying to get the attention off Pac's last performance and the fact that they are immediately going for a rematch instead of trying to face Floyd. Kind of like how they were going on and on about Floyd rematching Ortiz immediately instead of trying to fight Pac... :patsch

How does this relate to the thread title and subject?

    Typical 16 year old statement...

Pac just fought the #1 LW, #5 P4P, a 38 year old, and lost 7-5 on the overwhelming consensus average scorecard.

If Floyd fought Guerrero, he'd be fighting the #3 or #4 LW, top 30/40 P4P guy, whom is 28 years old.

No, I don't want Floyd to fight Guerrero, I want someone better who will etch more to his legacy, but I would not simply discount it or give him no credit.

    Whoa!!!

Before *****s say something, can you be objective and assess your stand?

What makes Guerrero a typical opponent for Gayweather?

The following criteria is applied :

    1. He must be young - obviously, a big check

    2. He must be a hungry lion - Obviously another big check

    3. He must be ranked top 5 in his division, not necessarily the welterweight division - Obviously another big check

    4. He must be a previous sparring partner of Pac - another whooping big check

    5. Must be a Golden Girl Fighter - a big check

    6. Must have won impressively in his last fight - a big check

    6 out of 6??????

Seriously, what more could Arum say to make it clear they don't want the fight...I mean the man has stated on record he's not interested in negotiations, he stated prior to the fight "why he's never been keen on making the PAC/May fight"...LOL, the **** else you want to hear?

I don't really think Mayweather is going to face Guerrero. First off, I don't even know if Guerrero would be back from his injury to fight on that date and secondly, it would be embarrassing for Mayweather. In fairness to Guerrero, he's a good fighter but he's a lightweight, will have been inactive for over a year come May 5, and has almost no chance at beating Mayweather.

You keep reading about names like Guerrero and Morales if a Pac fight can't be made but I don't think Mayweather plans to face either of these guys because they are such huge mismatches. At most they are simply bargaining tactics by Mayweather to let whoever he fights, outside of Pac, know they are lucky to land the payday that a Mayweather fight brings.

I'd love to see Robert get the payday, but he's a legit lightweight. I'd rather see him in with Khan (sure as **** not Maidana, Bradley or Alexander) or Canelo.
