Apparently theres rumors floating around that Mayweather is in talks with Hatton about setting up a possible rematch in England...I really hope this is not true/doesn't pan out. I did a search and didn't see anything reent on here so I thought I should make a thread to clear the air. does anyone have more information pertaining to this?

If its true its just a total money making scam on both fighters behalf and I hope no one goes to watch so it backfires totally....

I went to the first one in Vegas, but wouldnt watch a rematch between the pair of them if it was in my back garden. Hatton is a sorry excuse of a fighter right now and for his own safety shouldnt be allowed to fight again

Mayweather is gonna be so pissed when Hatton comes in 100lbs over the agreed weight limit.

What? I haven't heard this? Source?

If it did happen especially in England you better believe it would sell like crazy.

The English LOVE Hatton more than any other fighter!

I dont want to see this, I'd prefer May vs Cotto!

If the fight does sadly come to fruition, I would not be surprised if they made a new belt at Heavyweight for the 2 to fight for.

Agree with all of the above. I don't even want May vs. Cotto but thats certainly better than this.
The source is just talk on other boxing forums I've noticed, no big news yet to my knowledge.

The sad thing is that even though he could take him out anytime he wanted to, Mayweather would likely just potshot.

Yeah, that would not be good to finish off the year.

I hope it is. Even if what I'm seeing is true, that doesn't mean the fight will happen; although I doubt Hatton would put up any fight in the negotiations either.

Honestly, thats possible. He might want the fight to go awhile if he is preparing to fight Pacquiao although thats a stretch.

This fight would be huge in the UK.

I'd actually love if this happened :D

I like Hatton, but nowadays I like Mayweather even more- and going to see PBF would be ****ing brilliant! Even better if he fought Mathew Hatton, I'd like to see that **** get a steady beating for 12 rounds :bbb
