:good :good I was pleasantly surprised to see tonights fight as well as a little background of both fighters on SportsCenter this morning. It did have a title across the top that read "The World Awaits" though, but with this fight being much more Global I guess it really fits this fight better anyway. Score 1 for Boxing for being a cover story on SportsCenter!!! PBF KO/TKO 7.
This is a BIG fight. ESPN has even showed UFC results. They better give this one some coverage! They'd be silly to not at least mention it. PBF/Oscar was bigger in the US, but this fight may be even bigger on a global scale.
Of course being in the UK it is all over every media outlet here, and what with WOOOOOODYYYA keeping us updated via youtube all the time it is insane. Bringing loads of new boxing fans to the sport in the UK, hopefully young aspiring boxers too!!!
Yup, IMO there's no question this one is bigger World Wide, if for no other reason two major countries are represented. SportsCenter rarely shows anything boxing, even results of their own cards. So it's def. a good thing to see them (not just show results) but have a feature on the upcoming fight.:thumbsup

I think HBO deserves the credit here. They have pushed boxing so much and so well that now people have no choice but to tune in.
