Marquez called Floyd out, period...Floyd can call the shots on this fight...Marquez knew Floyd was at 147 when he retired and Marquez knows he was the 1 who called out Floyd so the fight will be on Floyds terms... With that said I believe if this fight takes place at 147 Floyd Kos him earlier than he would have if the fight was at 144
I think Floyd could make 143 if he had to..I think he could make 144 comfortably! Anything below 143 I juss think he struggles and puts himself at risk...
:rofl That was nearly 3 years ago!!! How can u call him the best welterweight now? I don't get it!! Once he retired he's not the best WW anymore, so how can he be the best welter now without fighting any welters?! I just don't get it!! :huh As for beating De La Hoya, no one can take that away from him. De La Hoya wasn't shot then, may of been on the slide slighty, but no where near shot. Just a shame he choose to retire after Hatton and not fight welterweights. If he hadn't retired then we wouldn't be talking about this now. :-(
Which idiot said FMJ comes in at 158lbs come fight night? Think his brain been pushing too much weight.
Schaefer: "It's gonna be at a catchweight, and that will be a subject of a seperate press announcement"
YES Hallejuah!!! I don't think he has come over 148lbs at fight night has he?? Where has all this 155-158lbs come from???!!
