I highly respect your preference.... I'm guessing you're the type of fan who watches many boxing fights, useless or not coz anything can happen and you don't wanna miss it...

floyd has come from super feather to where he is now...he got chances at higher weights each time he moved up...whats so different about jmm coming off a great knockout win over diaz getting a chance to move up, albeit 2 weights...
and floyd's coming off a lay off, this is a great match for him to come back with...
but i agree on mosley being a great match up...but williams is naturally a good bit bigger than floyd...and thats an example of moving up 2 weights as well....why would it be ok for floyd to move up to williams if marquez cant move up to floyd ?

How is this a useless fight. Its 2 of the best fighters in the world fighting each other. And dont bring the size **** into it because if Mayweather fought pacman no one would say anthing and Marquez and Manny are about the same size. Also Floyd is coming off a long layoff and is fighting the No2 P4P fighter who I believe should of got the decision against Pacquaio the second time. So its not a useless fight by anymeans.

REGARDLESS of what happened in the JMM-John fight (even if he was robbed)

The point im making is - the fact that he was even in a CLOSE fight with Chris John to me indicates he doesn't belong in the ring with Floyd.

    Floyd vs. JMM
    Chris John vs. Juarez
    Katsidis vs. Escobefo

At $49.95 PPV price, I say this is a good to average card but definitely not the best card of the year... Check the card below and compare the 2:

    PAC vs. Cotto
    Valero vs. Soto
    Daniel Santos vs. Yuri Foremen
    Montiel vs. Morel

Floyd doesn't need to move up to fight Williams, they will fight at 147...

So your most prefered fight is Floyd vs. Mosley, right??

So No-one had a Problem with Cotto coming back after a loss to fight a sub-par Michael Jennings...or Trinidad or De la Hoya coming back to fight a Fighter that is taylor-made for a KO in Mayorga who stands right in front of you with with hands down screaming "hit me!!!".

But a fighter who hasn't fought in nearly two years is GETTING **** for coming back and fighting a fighter who is One of the best fighters in the sport!!!!

    WOW...you guys are AMAZING!!!!

Guys, if Marquez don't cut you will see a much closer fight than expected on top of it Floyd will be in a fight like the castillo fight 1#. Not saying an upset but it will be one of mays toughest fights.

williams is fighting pavlik for middleweight title next, right ?

is my preferred fight mosley?..well mosley or jmm are both fine by me...i think, even at jmm's age, it's unfair to call this fight useless when he did what he did to diaz and floyd has moved up through the weights too...no, i wouldnt prefer mosley any more.

Because the boxers involved in the fights you mentioned above are more or less in the same weight class not 2 divisions apart...

Also those fights were not promoted as megafight or superfight...

yes coz no one is interested in fighting him at 147 (maybe except Clottey)... i'm sure Williams can make 147 specially if it's against Floyd...

Which fight you think is more competitive, Floyd-Mosley or Floyd-JMM??

Mismatch joke fight designed to line Mayweather's pockets. Why HBO feel the need to placate this prima donna is beyond me. Very disappointing.
