Both these guys last performance were boring as hell. They both do what they think is necessary to win.
But why is Mayweather's win over Pacquiao considered a masterpiece by the "experts" and Klitschko's win over Jennings a travesty?
In my humble opinion they are both boring fighters!

Probably something to do with the fact that Jennings is a nobody made to look like a nobody, while Pacquaio is apparently an ATG made to look like a nobody.

Jennings is a unknown fighter. Pacquiao is #2 pfp. fighter of the decade

The Klitschkos would be seen in much higher lights if they were American fighters.

    Vitali - 87% KO ratio.
    Wladimir - 79.1% KO ratio.

Wlad now has 67 fights, which is all but unheard of in this era, let alone a guy who has been HW champion since 2000.

67 fights is unheard of, but I don't think you can claim Wlad was anything more than a title holder at best back then, and even that was somewhat debatable, as the WBO had not yet reached mainstream acceptance. He DEFINITELY wasn't the recognized heavyweight champion until many years later, or several years later depending on how you listen to. (2006 sounds right by my estimation, with the Byrd rematch).

He has been "THE" title holder since 2004, sharing it with his brother. He's been in title fights since the year 2000, when he beat Chris Byrd.

"He's not fought anyone" - wrong, between he and his brother, there isn't anyone left. And they've both taken out so many undefeated fighters and challengers that it's really funny hearing the "This era isn't that strong" calls.

Considering one dimensional plodders like Tua in the last era were considered top tough fighters.

Your time line is off. He lost a fight in 2004 and had a mediocre year as my memory serves.

You're right, 2006 is the year he took it and kept it. 204 ended with the Brewster TKO.

2006 was the year I considered him the clear cut #1 guy (I know some claim Chagaev, or whatever, but I thought the case was pretty clear after he had beaten Byrd and previously beaten Peter, that he was the guy to beat with his brother out of commission).

Wlad clinches and backs off a lot. But he doesnt only clinch and back off while hoping his refs will gift him the decision. Its an insult to Wlad having his name next to a.. Floyd.

Why do people on this site insist on comparing heavyweights to small weight boxers? Small weight guys are suppose to have much bettter workrate, speed and maneuver-ability than a heavyweight possibly could especially super heavyweight like Klitschkos. These guys have like 100 lbs over a lil tot like Floyd.
