You cannot seriously be that ****ing stupid... Anyhow, Mayweather is to small, period, he cannot hurt Lamotta, and he would be seriously injured by the end of the fight if its 15 rounds.
A puncher's chance against LaMotta? A person with ok pop at welterweight would have "a puncher's chance" against the the best middleweight chin of all-time? Nobody anywhere, irrespective, of their biases could possibly agree with that.
I'll never understand this. I look at a lot of older footage, and a lot of the greats would be puzzled with some of the styles that are presented today. Amateurish at best is correct.
La Matta by KO or TKO................he would blitz Void, break his ribs, cut him down and out..................Hell, Void is afraid of Pac.....................Void could not even knock out the woman he beat up..................
If Lamotta went 1-5 against the greatest he will have no problem against a guy who does nothing better than sugar ray robinson aside from a very slight slight edge in defense. And Floyd is much smaller than ray robinson. In every aspect of the word.
clear decision by pedjr. pedjr runs circles around and outboxes him in the negotiating table, en route to a clear decision. another fantasy win by the *****s.
This goes to show the inadequacies of floyds opponents, that you are comparing him to guy who defeated light heavys! pathetic thread again, from keyboard warriors who have never boxed in there lives, but criticise a man who has!
yes he went 1-5 against robinson, yes he was good for his era,the difference is srr went toe to toe a lot against la motta, floyd wouldnt.if floyd can stand in the pocket against dlh, mosleyhatton, cottomarquez etc and barely take a punch then la mottas wild wide swinging punches are not going to land.granted la motta would have massive size and strength advantage but it wouldnt matter because he wouldnt land
Imagine a 160lb version of Hatton that had a great chin and better boxing skills. Floyd would be in the shite.
i dont mean it as a criticism to la motta,la motta was a beast in his era, heart work rate and toughness second to none.but watch footage of him and tell me that he would be effective against a mayweather or a martinez today with a straight face and i'll call you a liar.mayweather is a genius by todays standards,by lamottas standards he is light years ahead of him
la motta had better boxing skills than hatton ??? dont make me laugh.hatton is better in every department other than punch power and chin.the fight would pan out very similar to floyd and hatton imo apart from the ko. if you doubt hattons chin watch the kostya tszyu fight and tell me he's chinny, hatton went in like a bull wide open and tried to bulldoze floyd, once floyd got his timing he hit him with highlight reel punch after highlight reel punch which is precisely what he would do to la motta, the amount of flush punches hatton took coming in is a testament to his chin.
