its crazy for 7 straight years to pull in a million ppv average. definitely the definition of success, and you can not deny that

I've seen that reported by Kevin Iole. Cannot be sure if that's entirely accurate.

However, Mayweather's fans were predicting this would easily do 1.5 million so 925k, if true, iwould be a huge disappointment.

    too early to tell.

i dont recall ppv figures released in the past this early.

    it's been like 3-4 days?

how long before anyone knew about the first fight figures?

im not saying this is totally wrong.

it feels like choketime is dong a pre-emptive leaks, like leaking their own favorable numbers.

Even though it's a big number (in general), it's a disappointment for Floyd.

Further proof that the PPV model is becoming outdated...

IF TRUE, better numbers than I predicted. Pretty sure we'll have conflicting reports soon though. Arum is already claiming numbers were lower than Floyd/Maidana 1.

The highest paid athlete in the world? The self proclaimed best ever? A guy who has been in fights which total 2.2 MILLION buys yet he can't do ONE million?

Showtime are pissing money away on Floyd.

Talk about insisting on being ******ed and negative. "His fans predicted more so it must be bad!". Very unique I must say.

    ---

On topic and ******ed losers aside, I expected 800k to 850k, 925k is actually very good.
