showtime dont need to make money on the fight they making money long term with the rating that all access brings the ratings that other fights bring in. its a long term invesment not a 3 month investment. since floyd fights on showtime now more people will know about showtime.

The numbers make sense to me.

But that's 925,000 viewers and probably only 5,000 people maximum happy with what they saw.

if you go with your numbers, if true, it looks very good.

but how much really is needed to break even?

that's how you gauge whether the event is good or not, financially.

plus, the fight was moved earlier, you dont know if it cost choketime to lose money (most likely) on the programming scheduled in that time slot.

the comparison on earnings on first fight and the rematch is no longer apple to apple.

Those #'s are false. Did you not see the tweet above stating that those #'s are not accurate?

Just YESTERDAY the Floydboys were calling B.S on Arum when he said that Floyd's ppv #'s are down from his last fight because they claimed it was "too early to tell" :bart

TODAY its reported by an "insider" that he did 925k and they treat it as gospel! LOL. :deal:happy

Yeah I smell something fishy it took almost a month to confirm last months PPV yet these numbers were counted in 3-4 days and it did 25k more... Yeah I'm not buying this for a second .

Let's be real here, no one, other than MVC, expected the fight to do nearly that well. I thought the fight would do about 750K. Try to be objective.
