Mayweather vs. Maidana in jeopardy over glove controversy

yeah after watching Mayweather pick gloves vs Canelo, I see why they have an issue. They're pulling every pair of gloves from the shrink wrap and trying them on for the first time.

Maidana's glvoes didn't come in any shrink wrap, so I could see Ellerbe theorizing that the gloves were tampered with in order to redistribute/remove the padding.

As long as the gloves are new and factory sealed, and the commission has approved them, there should not be a problem. Hopefully Maidana has a new, factory-sealed pair.

its like the drug test all over again. but, the gloves seemed a little weak when floyd put them on

 

If the gloves are not right then their not right. The gloves can make a difference, but I believe this is a bit wwe to get some hype on the fight.
