Mayweather vs Maidana PPV numbers???

    This surely would be Floyds lowest PPV event ever , unless showtime stack it with a really deep quality undercard.

    On its own with no Mexican involvement , this wouldnt do 500k.

    Terrible fight considering he only fights twice a year and the move to showtime was meant to be the final curtain of a great career.

    This fight has no meaning , completely irrelevant and is an embarrassment to the sport.

    Beating the guy who beat ****ing Broner doesnt make it an Oscar vs Trinidad 147 unificantion!!!!

    Khan still beats Maidana like he did years ago when Maidana was younger and quicker.

    It will do at least a million. If I had to make an exact guess, I'll say around 1.2 million. The Broner beatdown would make for a good build up.

    Also, GBP has been putting on some epic under cards for these events recently.

    It should do relatively well. They should bring Broner back on the undercard in a fight he can look impressive in.

    Between 750- 1m it's a **** fight but people are dumb casuals in general no **** all about boxing, they belive what Floyd tells them, hell they bought the idea that Canelo would win hook line and sinker, they will also buy that Maidana has just beaten a boxing great in Broner lol. It won't do amazing but with a decent undercard it would do close to 1m, although i certainly won't be one of those people buying.

    Is there another unification bout that doesn't involve Mayweather that could be described as meaningless and an embarrassment to the sport?

    not as embarrassing as fighting judah for a belt when he was coming off a loss.
    not as embarrassing as choosing to fight a guy with 9 losses when he could have fought the #1 welter in margarito
