More value for the fans. If the fans are happy, who gives a **** WHY he's stacking his card. Somebody sounds jealous.
Lol deep down you know he don't need 1.5 to break even. Come on, hes hit that number about 5 times in his career lol show time ain't stupid. Even after all that, floyd gets 32mill guaranteed, i'm sure he's not really that bothered lol.
yes they are that stupid duckweather had a interview with them selling himself saying he would make those numbers everytime he fights.........showtime fell for it actually they tried it with hbo first and they told him to **** of ............smart business move from hbo..................showtime expenditure is out of control.
whatever you believe, stop worrying about it. Enjoy a good event and no need to worry about ppv. When floyd goes on about his ppvs you cry saying who cares, then when they don't tell you the numbers you moan wanting to know. Another lose lose situation... just enjoy the boxing lol
I don't think undercards matter to casuals and don't increase the sales from that demographic. They are buying it for the main event, only hardcore fans care and buy based on the total card.
he would say that of course.............800k is the breaking point the expenditure is far great for it to be only 800k
quillin-lee is a garbage fight, I was hoping it was going to be a little more exciting. But I am stoked to see Thurman again, same with Santa Cruz. If Cruz fights Rigo on the undercard, I will buy the ppv. I promised myself to never support Floyd, but this is for RIGO!
75 dollar PPV's. 800k is 60 million in revenue plus a live gate of 15 million. That's a 75 million dollar event. He's guaranteed 32 million, and nothing more. The upside depends on how well the PPV does.
Doesn't make it right though. Arum should give the people paying better value, I can't stand how cheap he is.
Yeah I know. He doesn't like to put on big events. There was a time when the TOp Rank roster was strong and could have produced some monster PPVs. He didnt do it though. I can't remember the last Top Rank card that had a can't miss undercard.
