Floyd prints his own money. Let's see, DLH wanted it so Little Floyd parlayed that opportunity with the idea for 24/7. Hatton talked really greazy on the apron after the JL Castillo win so Floyd got him with a check hook that if it wasn't for the ringpost, Ricky woulda been face first in a ring girl's lap. Then he gets 8 figures for JMM with WWE and DWTS appearances before that. Just call him the US Treasury because that's printing your own currency.

Lets see how Bob propagandas his way outta this one, this fight on paper was a total mismatch but Floyd talked so much sh*t he makes people wanna watch him fight. Don't forget they marketed the hell out this fight. It was showcased in movie theaters (1st time since Leonard/Duran) is he Oscar? Naw! But right now he's that crossover star since Oscar.

It was a PPV flop. If not for the Mexican fans the fight would have been much worse. Void is not a draw.

Kevin Iole is the only "source" and he's not seen anything official, just some chatter from the guys at HBO. Those figures are simple speculation because, unlike the UK, there are multiple cable providers for the PPV, excluding Time Warner's own platform (is it ComCast?). So, getting those number from all the different vendors could take months.

The rumour is that they're also including the closed circuit sales as PPV buys, even though the price was a lot lower. You need to read ALL the information before accrediting rumours any truth though.

I wonder if Arum would charge the ppv cheaper than normal, this would break records?
ppv in the states= 29.99 instead of the 49.99??

On the back of Iole's article, by my understanding. Till I see HBO put an announcement out, I remain unonvinced. If it's donw that many, then boxing can have a marketable star in the mainstream. Shame he's such poor value entertainment wise.

    Nothing gives me that impression.

Floyds magic but has no killer instinct. You can't manafactured natural killer instinct. Leonard, Dempsey etc no matter what style you can have killer instinct.

Floyd dropped him in the second but didn't even try to get anything more out of it.

Floyd is safety personified. Pot shotting until his opponent breaks and then he'll turn it up. If you don't break then he'll settle for the points rather than take a risk. It's hard for me to accept.

What has that got to do with anything? He's boring - even in his display of the sweet science he's so risk averse it's like watching sparring.

How will that encourage more people to watch?
