When the fight was signed I thought 600k but with all the media Marquez has been getting on spanish television including his At&T commercial which is playing 24/7 I think it does 800k easy.

People always say Floyd isn't a draw but I say that's bull****, he was drawing over 300k against Baldomir, this fight is going to do really good numbers and I also think the gate will be over 7 million which is very good.

The mexicans on my block are supporting Marquez, but are not willing to put money on it.

In addition they were putting down Cotto saying that he would not last 4 rounds against Pac, but i was willing to bet on my man unlike them. I have 2 packs of corona on Cotto and I am officially on the Mayweather bandwagond for this one.

    Let's go PBF !!!!!

The only time general America would support Floyd would be if it was against a warring country i.e Jackie Owens in the Olympics versus Germany, or Joe Louis versus Max Schmelling* of Germany. You know that the United State will back anyone if it benefits them or their personal feelings on politics. Until then, they don't like that brash I don't give a **** attitude. If he was fighting an Al Queda backed fighter, the US would go crazy over Floyd.

This undoubtedly will be JMM's biggest test. It reminds me of another fight Chavez vs Rosario.

I remember as a teen being afraid that Chavez was going to be outclassed by Rosario. Chavez went so far as to say if he lost the fight his career would have amounted to nothing. To Mexicans in general when we have doubt we work harder and psychologically prepare ourselves for the worst. PBF is very confident that he can beat Marquez as are the majority of people watching this fight. However, if PBF for one second thinks he does not have to fight the entire 12 rounds he will pay dearly.

Marquez looks faster and stronger than he has looked in his last 3 fights. If Marquez can win 5 rounds of the 12 rounds I would say that PBF is done.

Look it's hard cheering for Floyd, but I am gonna do my best.

My heart says JMM, and I would love to see him Win he is a great guy and i am a fan of his and his brother, but some of his fans just work my nerves.

I don't know if you're Puerto Rican, but I have to give Puerto Ricans credit for that. From my experience, they have been more than willing to put their money where their mouth is regarding their fighters. It's unreal how much faith they have in their fighters.

JMM throws a lot of volume, sometimes it hard for a guy like JMM who is a counter puncher to find his spots to throw, but he was able to adjust. JMM also didn't have the reach advantage over Diaz that Malignaggi had to able to pot-shot him from a distance and move.
I'm not saying JMM is going to win, just that it's understandable why he struggled a bit against a guy like Diaz.

If you struggle with Diaz for any reason, you're going to have hell with Floyd. I like JMM, though. I kinda wish he wasn't fighting Mayweather.

So let me get this straight based on those early rounds where a young high volume puncher was getting dominated and then knocked out for the first time. I saw Melderick Taylor dominate Chavez for 99.9% of the fight and then not only does he get knocked out by Chavez but he is never the same fighter. You saw how Diaz struggled with Paulie--Diaz is damaged now.

The way I look at it as Marquez has heart most fighters would have gotten frustrated. Second, Marquez destroyed him with a few precision punches. I don't think Floyd will throw the volume that Diaz threw as he would risk tiring and/or hurting himself.

As for Mexicans not believing in their boxers biggest crock of BS!

I feel the same way. Normally the week of a PBF fight I'm trashing his opponent for example, Hatton and Oscar but I have nothing but respect for JMM and just can't do it.

PBF is light years better defensively and smarter than Taylor is horrible comparison.
