No. Because I personally don't think it would be huge upset regardless who won.

Still , as great as Marquez is...Mayweather is still undefeated. Someone has yet to do it. ( though some would argue that he unofficially lost against Castillo )

Which makes a Marquez by decision +400 bet somewhat attractive.

This fight is predictable despite what 24/7 wants you to believe. JMM is one of the best fighters of all-time, but he's fighting out of his element against a guy who u don't fight out of your element.

At Junior welterweight I'd give Manuel a good chance. At welter, Floyd will stop him or punish him until the 12th round rolls along, and claim an easy UD.

well i give marquez about a 30-35% chance of a decision victory......i expect it to be a close by clear mayweather victory....marquez will have success early, floyd trys to figure his opponents out in the early rounds, and has tendency to drop early rounds.....if marquez can continue to be successful in the mid rounds, we will have a very close decision....i expect floyd to win the majority of rounds after 6 and 7....

That's possible, but you're also talking about a guy who's been inactive, and isn't use to getting in the trenches the way Manuel is, and has a history of hand injuries, so it's not cut and dry. But I generally agree with what you said in that 140 would be a better weight for Manuel, than 147.

He said he is comming in at 142 pretty much Jr welter, now okay so Floyd will probably come in at 144 However Manny Pac IMO has faster hands and heavier hands and a higher work rate, I think Marquez is going to surprise alot of people.

If these are the weights they're fighting at, and Marquez can make this a war, I'd give him a pretty good chance.

The interesting thing about Oscar is that he's been in with both Mayweather and Pac and so assuming there's not much seperating Pac and Marquez, and assuming he would have studied a far amount of tape on Marquez, while brushing up on Pac, he'd be in a pretty good position to know their relative strengths and weaknesses.

William Dettloff at the Ring's website is also picking Marquez, by close UD. I think he's the first major boxing scribe to do so?

Didnt this guy predict hatton to beat pac and even himself to beat pac:lol:

Anyway, i feel may will win, i just dont see how a guy who got outboxed by manny pacquiao can beat floyd mayweather.
