they have already got it lined up, would say if they where going to put it on PPV, need to promote the PPV. Like they did for DLH-Pac im sure they could package it with a Khan card. Khan has proved that he cant sell PPVs and his contract stipulations means that they cant afford to have him on regular sky, so he will probably have to go along with big US cards from now on.
It will do really **** numbers over here and I dont expect it to be a major success in the states either. Floyd isnt the "cash cow" he thinks he is. He cant draw unless hes fighting a DLH or Hatton. And when the numbers are revealed to be shite...he can stop his silly demands for the Pac fight:good
Saw picture of Marquez training and he looks so much bigger now, looks stonger. Still pick Mayweather, but I give Marquez bigger chance of winning now. Still, judges will be for Mayweather, so will ref and commentators.
I'd expect it'll be on PPV... Sky would have to fork out substantially for the rights, and they're not going to do that for free. They'll show 24/7 in the run up to sweeten the pot.
After Hatton beat Tszyu...HBO really started to hype and build him up. After he ko'd Maussa many yanks thought he was a little ko artist lol. So americans viewed Ricky a very live opponent with alot of momentum going into the Floyd fight. My point is Mayweather needs a big ppv drawing opponent to do decent numbers.
This is arguably the most stacked card of the entire year with two huge fighters contesting the main event. It's worth the PPV price, easily.
you're right kos...its not PPV :happy although this would be more then worthy of PPV and i would've happly coffed up my 15 quid, funny how cards that in theory should be are not. but i guess boxing is about celebrity more then anything these days...:-(
It's still PPV in the Plutocracy called America! That fight has already been decided. Not worth paying for.
If this is on Box Office I really don't care. It's a stonking card and for once I can justify the fee to the missus. Trying to explain the fee to her about Khan cards is the greatest challenge I have ever faced :huh
i will just be grateful that we get to see it, SBO or not. there is no pleasing some people. anyone know when 24/7 starts?
