The weight is between 140 and 145 ... thats it ... nothing else ... i'm sure that GBP and HBO have already been in talks about Mayweathers return already ... its just a matter of a less named opponent or the p4p ranked Marquez ...

I don't know what the big deal is ... 145 would be a reasonable weight ... You have a guy thats been at welterweight and above since 05' - i'm sure he's settled in at that weight class.

He's taken bigger risks than Pacquiao agreeing to fight at 154, instead of 147 ... I think thats great.

I don't think Floyd stops JMM. I figure that since it's a "tune up", we'll see a lot of Floyd getting in work and rounds against a smaller opponent.

Floyd probably wins a 9-3 decision.

Marquez is a tune up ... for damn near 5 years ... Mayweather was considered p4p the best in the game, won multiple championships, remained undefeated, and has beaten more champions.

When you're on that level ... anyone can be considered a tune-up.

Dont be so sure bruh.. This is a fight of the century between two of the best tacticians in the game today.. I hope it happens.

Floyd deserves alot of respect for taking on Marquez. Mannnn what a warrior.. He doesn't know the meaning of FEAR..

120-108 all across the boards ... there is no way that Mayweather lets Marquez get a round in.

I hope floyd comes out to that Young Jeezy song - welcome back !!

    :good

Marquez is a tuneup for nobody. I don't care if he's fighting Paul Williams at 160...you don't overlook a master boxer like Marquez...he's a lot smaller than these guys, but it's not like his style is one where he needs to be the bigger man in there...he's a boxing textbook.

If this fight happens, I'll be rooting for JMM to beat the pink out of Mayweather's panties.

That would be the REAL fight he should be after. Mosley is coming off maybe the best performance of his career and looks like a BAD man.
