Bradley gains nothing from a fight with Floyd.

Marquez only stands a chance since Mayweather will try to get some rounds in and fight at a relaxed pace. Marquez's defense isn't strong enough to deter combination punching from Mayweather, his legs have slowed, and he's significantly weaker.

Floyd will pot shot and focus on getting his timing back and not being hit. Marquez won't win a tactical battle, but his chin won't be shook, and he will land a few punches of his own. Floyd doesn't throw in combination, if he did he could stop Marquez without too much difficulty, but he'll more likely pot-shot him, use the ring, and go the distance for a comfortable decision.

Still, it's a fight the aging Marquez should take win or lose, Floyd won't damage him irreparably, he'll make a huge payday, get on PPV, and he will actually get MORE fights in the future by top fighters who will see him as a good name on their resume who can be beaten.

Marquez needs to worry more about his bank account than his legacy here, and this is a MEGA fight to be in. He should keep it reasonably competitive and gain public support b/c of his jumps in weight to keep him a marketable commodity after the loss, still attractive to HBO as a headliner and potential candidate for the loser of Pacquiao/Hatton.

I'd advise Marquez accept at 143.5 or below. There are many more beatable opponents available, but for a fighter who hasn't been in many lucrative fights, he should take the cheque and gamble on Mayweather showing ring rust.

    $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

These are professional prizefighters, not weekend warriors. They care more about money than records.

If anything it's the other way around.

The money and the recognition would be huge for Bradley.

JMM is the best fighter that Floyd has faced (Cept for a Prime Oscar).

PBF says he's willing to go to 145 but JMM wants it closer to 140. I say he should say **** it and do it at 140.

This is his first fight after being off more more than a year nothing wrong with this fight IMO. He will probabaly fight Pac next if he wins if not probably Cotto. Give it a chance he hasn't even offically announced that he was coming back.

Mayweather opponents are gonna be in for a shock when they discover how much smaller the paychecks will be. (Compared to those De La Hoya lotterry would generate)

& since this all about money, I say they make JMM Vs. Mayweather
    Another victory for GBP.

The fight wouldn't take place at 140 no titles would be on the line.

dude calm down. JMM wants to fight the winner of Pacquaio-Hatton, last time I checked thats 140 and Mayweather is at 147, so you gonna blame Hatton for fighting a career FW??? DIDNT THINK SO!! ppl hold a way difeerent standard to mayweathert then anybody else, **** is stuip. and how is the p4p#2 fighter no threat?? SO DOES BOXING SUCK THEN OR IS MAYWEATHER THAT GOOD???

Its a shame that Marquez is going to get knocked out ... and just because Mayweather isn't that type of fighter _ if the opportunity presents itself (which it will) he will be able take out Marquez.

I'm sure that its going to be the same scenario for Pacquiao as well ... who has shown bad habits, even in his best moments.
