I didn't think Hatton was shot, I love Hatton but know that he just isn't at that level, I knew Mayweather & Pac would beat his ass, as much as I didn't want them too, I just knew.

I don't think that Floyd can be no 1 if he beats Marquez either, as much as I feel Marquez beat Pac, it's not the same as it's not at the same weight.

I think it could be said that people don't fully realize just how hungry for the next level of fame and recognition Marquez is. He's starving for it, IMHO. If Mayweather doesn't show initiative, it will be a potentially challenging fight for him.

No the reality is that Marquez was robbed at least once. No need to hype about it, it happened ... not the first or last time a boxer will be robbed in the ring... objective watcher know Marquez was robbed.
As for Hatton... you need to wake up and smell the coffee... Yes he has never been of the top standard and some of us were shouting this form the roof top even after he took a beating in defeating Kostya! what is your defintion of shot? For me i said staright after the Lazcano fight that this guys punch resistance had gone. Floyd beat the rest of the punch resistance out of him. I love Pac but you sycophants who go on like he defeated a monster in beating Hatton are either dumb, or dumber.... your pick!!!:rasta

great point and close to the one i make. I hate the kind of lazy punidtry you get on some forum sometimes! Lets talk boxing, techniques, styles , boxers psyche's e.t.c
Marquez is no walk in the park, he is a top top fighter. Floyd has to bring his a+ game. No mistakes i pick Floyd, and it could even be devastating if he switches to the kind of attack dog we saw at the lower weights in flashes against the likes of Corrales and Ndou. However if he comes under cooked Marquez will take his O!!

I believe this will be a great technical fight with both guys very weary of each other playing defense for the first half of the fight. I expect after six that Floyd will come out attacking a bit more often, but JMM might pop a counter attack to step him back a few. If that happens and JMM strengthens after eight, if Floyd doesn't get KO"d or TKO'd the JMM would have enough on points. But as I conspire I believe whatever happens JMM will lose on politics with points, Pac won't fight him again for one, and a Pac Floyd fight is much more of a money maker with the mainstream buys. I hope for JMM to KNTFO of Floyd for the best and realest fight for the new decade to occur with Pac Jmm 3

calling a close fight a robbery is plain wrong. that is why we have every fight here at ESB that went the distance a robbery even if it was a clear decision what more if its a close fight?

nobody said hatton is a great fighter. but the way pac demolished hatton was not expected by many. did you even pick pac to stop hatton in two rounds? the way you are acting its like you called it like roach himself when he said pac would stop hatton in 3.

and lastly, calling other posters name would not made your points stronger.

No i picked PAc to stop him in 5 to 6 and was chased off the BBC boxing forum by hattons idiotic fans! I gave Hatton two chances, slim and none, and said that Manny would stop him decisively. Still i based that on 3 facts . firstly that Hatton couldnt handle southpaws, secodnly that he was the most technically flawed of the big fighters around and thirdly that he relied on a macho you hit me and i'll keep coming style, and he couldnt do that anymore because his punch resistance was gone and he was shot!
Now you are a Manny fan but you do yourself no service by passing this fight off as a non event... Marquez gave Pac hell ... Twice!!!

now it's much better than crying to high heaven about robbery when its a close fight. i admit that jmm gave pac hell but so did pac to jmm. if you say that either of them had it easy, you are just a bias observer.

you are saying hatton was shot? so how good was hatton when he was not shot according to you? and weren't you impressed that even if you picked pac in 5 or 6, he did it in just 2? or you would not give pac credit because hatton is shot by your standards?

That you need to mention Pac's name to hype this fight makes you JMMorons insecure about your fighter's legacy. It makes Pac greater in your eyes. Deal with it, Pac is the real number one.

Barking up the wrong tree here mate... Im a huge PAC fan... he did what he had to do and it in a way that stunned everyone. Yes i didnt expect it that early. Im no fan of Hatton and foryears have said he had found his level when he beat a shopworn Kostya... i said floyd wopuld kill him and he did. Pac also would kill him, simply these guys are what Hatton is not i.e great technicians!
however back to the point... beating Marquez is a better accomplisment than beating a shot incompetent boxer like Hatton!

ok you are a huge pac fan, i'll give you the benefit of the doubt. so you don't think highly of hatton because he is not a fine/great technician? fair enough since i feel that you favor a certain style over the other. it's just that if you think hatton's style is ****, it doesn't necessarily make him shot. a shot fighter doesn't stop someone like malignaggi who was not even stopped by a beast like cotto.
