Looking at the weight difference, i feel Floyd will be the first one to KO JMM.

Floyd on fight night will be around 148/149, where JMM will stay around 142/143

You could see when Floyd weighed in that JMM was not happy. I hope to god he doesn't regret letting Floyd get away with those extra pounds :good

Quite a lot of outrage on the general - the whole first page is about the weigh-in.

Also, on Friday Fight Night, they got the weights mixed up - they said Marquez was 146 and Mayweather was 142

Theres a post by TooPretty saying that the fight must have been agreed at 147 not 144 because Mayweather weighed in at 146....rather than the more obvious interpretation that PBF pulled a fast one!:patsch

from what he stands to earn from this fight and by winning it a mega fight with Pacquiao, then whatever compensation he has had to pay by taking the **** will pay dividends when he wins. Snidy ******* !

If you can overlook all his crap outside of the ring, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that Floyd's return is simply good for the longevity of our flat lining sport. Case in point: ESPN has put a tab on their website today called "Boxing". Ostensibly this is not a big deal but considering just yesterday it didn't even register under "other" and you had to manually search for "boxing", this is indeed a big deal to us diehards.

Its a shitty move but I suppose that really JMMs team should have made the financial penalties stiff enough to deter that move. I guess they didn't do that.....

Yeah gaz and slip I agree It is good for the sport he's back and yeah Gaz Marquez should have done so however there may have been a chance that if they'd refused they may have been throwing away a chance at Payday beyond anything they ever did or ever could expect. I feel Marquez's hand has been forced slightly here and its left a bitter taste to be quite honest. I am firmly behind Marquez now :good

Beforehand I wasn't too bothered as I loved both but now I hope Marquez wins

Would you expect anything else from some of the tossers on the general? As for Sky messing up- the casuals won't notice the difference anyway.

I'm not sure what to think about all this. As I've said before, I never once heard PBF OR JMM say that they were fighting at 144- it's only ever something I saw on the forum. Some dude on the general is claiming that JMM couldn't weigh more than 144 but PBF could weigh up to 147:huh; if that's true then that is completely bizarre.

In short, PBF has played JMM here bigtime and I'm less enthusiastic about the fight now, TBH:conf. As Dan said, I'm a PBF fan but if he keeps pulling this bull**** all the time then I might just stop calling myself a fan:bart.

Slip, what you on about with regards to ESPN, mate?

Bienvenido a Miami!! South Beach got a decent little card tonight for all you ESPNers with the headliner being Rigondeaux. Can't wait to watch Rigo step WAAYYY up in class and face a vet like Andrade. No secret here as Andrade's 49 ko's are way inflated with South American bums dotting his resume, but all in all this will still be a nice test for this phenom and two time Olympic gold medalist. I believe Freddie will be in his corner tonight so we could see the same check rights like Pacquiao from the southpaw stance.

Rigo's opponent has a decent ranking with the WBA I think - they are fast tracking him to a world title for next year.
