One thing one cat forgot to mention. Marquez is not THAT good on the inside. He is deadly from mid range and long range. He rarely tries to get in too close. Bad thing is Floyd has terrific defense. Marquez drops his right hand as the same as his brother.. He is open to counter left hooks all night.

Marquez body is looking like he can handle some muscleing around........who knows saul, Marquez may even get the better of it inside as he's a much busier fighter with his hands.

I never thought Marquez would call out Mayweather either.....
......but now that its a done deal, I'm glad that its going to happen.
Far before many here, I've seen JMM as one of those special fighters with the skills to be talked about for generations to come......
He was always ducked and ignored earlier in his career by the bigger names......

.....and though I'm of the belief that Mayweather the younger, quicker, faster and naturally bigger fighter should be the favorite, I'm now thinking I'm glad JMM will get at least a crack to shine against a "true great of the sport."

Marquez may no longer be prime, but he's still fighting at a very high level, so what better fighter than to showcase his skills against someone that has skills to match his.

For the first time in his career, I'm not going to pick JMM to beat his opponent....(I dont pick with my heart).....but I will say this.....It wont suprise me one bit to see JMM come out on top and actually beat Mayweather.

    Never count out greatness!!!

    JMM SHOCK THE WORLD!!!

cant remember seeing a marquez clinch before. floyd may try to clinch in the first few rounds but it would mean geting close enough to marquez to get hit and floyd is allergic to pain. i expect floyd to use his superior reflexes to punch and run out of danger. floyd knows he has to ko a marquez that is older than the one pac fought in order to appear better than pac. i just dont think floyd has the heart to take a gamble like that. if it comes then he will take it but i cant see him going after it.
