Well, I do agree that Merchant really is too hard on Floyd, and you could tell right away where Merchant was going with his question, but honestly, I can't say that Floyd got the better of Merchant here, all Floyd basically said was "You hate me so I won't talk to you.. talk to Ortiz instead!" Not exactly an impressive put down.

So I would say Merchant "won it" because in the end, you know he was calmly going to ask Floyd a tough question, and Floyd instead chose not to answer it and just insulted Merchant.
