There is always someone in history that probably could have beaten you...Especially in certain weight classes. Floyd at 147 is more beatable than below when going up against HOF. His ATG status is below WW.

The "Greatness" of Floyd is his Mind. It's his ability to adapt. His ability to figure you out, make you think you are in the fight, then drown you. That's why despite his physical decline in his 30's, he still wins the way he does.

But we are talking about Morales. That is what I was being specific too. Floyd below 147, when he was in his 20's, had it all: Mental, Physical, and Technical gifts. I think that is to much for Morales to overcome to win. Keep it a good fight, a close fight, Yes.
Now Duran and some others, yeah, that might be a different story. Good fight with Morales but I don't see him winning.

I'll have to track down that quote I put up from Duran on how he would beat Floyd. But it's also a quote that translates into what Floyd himself does.

As far as Castillo, true...but Castillo was a good fighter who was still physically bigger in weight than Floyd at that point who packed a good punch and inside strength. Morales at his best weight doesn't have those advantages over Floyd.

Mayweather possesses five times as much boxing skill and qualities than Raheem, who took Morales to school.

Yea, interesting fight. But if we say Morales was done at this point, it takes away from Pac's victory. And if we say he wasn't done at this point, it gives points to Floyd for favoring him over Morales.

    Which one do we decide?

Mayweather would outbox Morales quite handily. Morales was too small for Floyd, who was a pretty sizeable Junior lightweight and lightweight and Morales was really at his best 122 and 126. It's also an awful style match up for Morales who had problems with rangier boxers.

again, 122 or 126, it wouldn't matter, this "demigod" would still taste the canvas

Erik was a much better boxer than given credit for and would of handled Raheem with ease, but it was crystal clear he wasn't the same being the first time he ever looked outta shape all flabby. That Raheem was able to beat a past his prime Erik and Floyd would do worse at that time was true, but the Erik that whipped,Floyd showed he was clearly on his level. It wasn't the size, speed, power, etc that troubled Floyd. It was the feints. Floyd used to countering he was getting outboxed, outsmarted by a smaller fighter. This isnt like Calderon or Valero whipping Oscar who was a mummy and shot to **** by then. These 2 were in their best stages. Raheem would of gotten his ass handed to him too he was lucky he got a flabby Erik.

Morales hurt Floyd in sparring sessions! Imagine what he would of did to Floyd in a fight... Morales TKO 6... Would of been easy work for Erik.. After all look what JLC did to Void in their first bout!
